better with the point and clean sheet than nothing at all, need to work at these types of games tho. we could be back with a bigger gap if we are not careful.

@menzinho o brien tends to be a game changer for us, he always comes on fired up and gets the players passing the ball around in different ways. i think he makes more of an impact coming on from off the bench. he played very well against dagenham! i thought we could have had several goals, joel taylor missed plating up kyle wootton. terrible decision to go it alone but it did not matter really, but the win did gives us something once again to build on. defensively, i was not impressed with the opposition and i wished we caused them a bit more trouble.

i feel confident notts will win but i dont think it will be easy by any means, notts will probably play well but struggle to score at first.

saturday should be a better result, take the draw but try to go on a winning streak. the past two games could really have been better.

he was right by rawlinson a lot of the time, it looked like a 451 formation with taylor drifting into the middle. in the first 30 mins, chicksen was terrible. his header gave them the opportunity to score their second goal.

disappointed by the ways rochdale scored but its football, i thought we gave a good account of ourselves and as others keep saying its time to get out of this league. -
eastleigh always give us a game and they tend to come out on top, i think they have won us twice in recent years at their ground? i know we lost the opening game against them. i think they also beat us last season. something for the current form to be wary of.

i had someone on twitter mention that they liked how the ref allowed things to go which is fair enough, but at times there was clear fouls on notts players and he would not give them. it came across as very biased in the first half, i dont recall how many fouls they got but it does not take away from clear fouls not being rewarded. it was almost like he would not give notts any decisions, especially on kyle wootton who was heavily manhandled at times. i would not say he cost notts the game, the defending did that and chicksen being awful. but i do think he was poor giving advantages to the away team when at times words should have been had at the minimum. i think rochdale played well, so good luck to them but both their goals come across as things we should do better with.

i think if notts can score early or even get the first goal, they will be able to retain the lead but i have the feeling it will go to penalties instead. rochdale looked a decent team from what i have seen, they play as one and we need to be careful not to treat them like we have already won. i do think morale is high for us right now but if rochdale scores first, then i think it will be a draw and pens to decide.

i will be getting in as soon as the doors to meadow lane open up, i really hope we can break the national league home attendance record. it should bring a good crowd that would make the match day that even more special, for the players to see the response and support, i am sure they will do their part. just mindful if we have any setbacks, keep encouraging them because the fans will be the 12th man. i am going for 4-0 notts win as my prediction. wotton x2, ruben and francis.

i love the pride of nottingham prints, i have so many now on my wall and it lightens my bedroom up. i do need to get a couple of the tshirts. the grealish one is ace! as is the lee hughes one.

need to focus on the rochdale game first, but it would be nice to have a good cup run and eventually tie a top team.

the positives are that notts did not lose or concede but its games that should be ended at the first opportunity. if we had got into the next round and found rochdale tough, fair enough but tamworth is a team i feel notts should be winning. -

i have a good feeling about the game, as it should be a nice away day for fans and i think the spirit of the fa cup will give notts some excitement. i mean, if notts was at home i think tamworth would be treating it like their cup final already. it sounds like we will be making a few changes though, which might inject some life and fight i think. -
good win, hope notts can use it to build on. i dont think we can expect to be higher, we have to earn that with good results. i do think it shows how important kyle cameron is to the notts county defence, obviously its not all down to him. yeovil sounded poor, but its something to push on from.

i am pleased, not just for the win but ian burchnall who came under unfair fire imo. the football has largely been better and i can only see it improving over time, kyle camerons return to action looks to have settled things down. playing in the opponents half and winning the ball back quickly will always help, it was a good result against yeovil.

notts needs to have a stronger mindset and better focus, we cant allow these types of things to constantly turn games. its just poor control of the dying moments of games.

i think notts will bounce back but i think it will be after this, i can see yeovil leading and notts pulling it back. a better performance and good game but not quite the win we need.

halifax are where ideally i would like notts to be, its going to be a big game because a point pushes notts back a bit more. a defeat will see us fall and only a win would really help the situation we are in right now. by situation, i mean having lost 2 games in a row. i think if everyone works hard enough, notts should be fine.

i fear playing chicksen and brindley as cbs against woking, they drift out wide and forget to cover at key stages in the game. i do feel more confident about playing at home, i think that does help and if the fans make the atmosphere good, it should lift the game. i agree that o brien deserves a start, but i cant see ruben being rested.

i think we are only seeing the start of something special, once we hit or true potential, i think the form will only build. turning some of these away games into wins would help massively, but i am impressed so far. starting a season off well, its something we have needed for awhile really. kyle wootton could hit 20+ goals by himself if he continues, he might even get his first hattrick. to say some was worried and panicked about where the goals would come from, i think we have proved already we have goals. its cutting out the ones we concede that will eventually stop. -
i thought it was a good win but the performance was testing at times, notts just lacked that spark or cutting edge that we have seen. yet the clean sheet for me is a big bonus. with camerons injury i think it shows we can be tighter at the back.
