  1. having scott back for the final run of games would be a blessing, we just need to keep everyone fit and avoid any injuries that would cause potential set backs. preparing for the playoffs is something luke williams has to be aware of now.
  2. Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Norwich City Blackpool 0-1 Cardiff City Bristol Rovers 0-2 Charlton Athletic joker Lincoln City 1-1 Cheltenham Town Gillingham 0-1 Doncaster Rovers Harrogate Town 2-1 AFC Wimbledon Barnet 0-0 Bromley Oldham Athletic 3-1 Altrincham
  3. you may have chance as a scout still @Piethagoram but until then, you are ours!
  4. talk of the wealdstone raider again. i hope we smash them and he leaves meadow lane asking his own fans if they want some.
  5. Sam Slocombe - keep Kyle Cameron - keep Connell Rawlinson - maybe Adam Chicksen - keep Jim O'Brien - maybe Frank Vincent - let go Aaron Nemane - keep Ruben Rodrigues - keep i would let frank vincent go personally, i think we could find more consistent players who would thrive more in our midfield. rawlinson and o brien are a maybe, i think both are good players but neither would be automatic starters and they would need to be content with being a backup option. the rest are all key players who we need to get sorted asap.
  6. its awful news, rest in peace jason turner.
  7. Norwich City 1-2 Sheffield United West Bromwich Albion 3-0 Millwall jkr Charlton Athletic 2-1 Shrewsbury Town Derby County 1-1 Ipswich Town Colchester United 0-2 Newport County Northampton Town 1-0 Stevenage Bromley 0-1 Solihull Moors Scunthorpe United 0-0 Torquay United
  8. one of the better opposition managers to have spoken about notts, its funny how more professional non league managers are.
  9. there are a lot of people who co-own or fund other clubs, i think because hes russian there is a bit of a witch hunt. its not uncommon, i forget which championship team it is but the owner owns a Belgium club too. who cares how he invests his money. provided hes not using it to give one an advantage or asset stripping, i dont see the story.
  10. it makes me more thankful that we have the reedtz brothers.
  11. the first goal was sneaky by notts, i dont think the referee should have allowed the quick free kick. if it happened to us, all hell would be let loose and really it was never a fair move. rubens penalty looked the standard for taking them, smooth and clinical.
  12. it is a good save, but the only good thing about the penalty from the takers point of view was the power in which he hit it with. striking the ball into that area should favour any keeper all day but mair still had to get his hands onto it and i am trying to point out its more about their player than mair.
  13. are those on international duty back? we could do with brooks. i have nothing against mair, but i feel more confident in brooks and if slocombe is out again. i would rather go with someone who is comfortable. mair looked nervous and away from home i can picture him being a lot busier than he was on saturday against scunthrope. if he starts so be it, i accept luke williams call but personally i would opt for brooks if hes free. i am not sure what altrincham are like at home but as others said in the last games discussion an early goal would be nice.
  14. shared by @Dan in the pon fb group: its great to see his pics published in the daily mail paper.
  15. wrexham away is a must win game regardless of how the season goes, beating them on their home soil will be our reward. they can celebrate after losing to the biggest club in this league.
  16. i saw this tweet from chris earlier and it got me wondering, how involved are you in the notts community? i think i could compare the community part to pon, people here have always been great and i feel at home, i speak and say hello to fans i see in person, they might not realise its me but i do like saying hello when i do see someone.
  17. all good goals, even the own goal was nicely worked. langstaff really wanted that hattrick, but i dont think the own goal will be given to him even tho it looked to be on target.
  18. welcome back @AmericanPie, its nice to have you back again.
  19. i dont spend as much of my free time on social media, with me working from 8am to 5:30pm and sometimes into late shifts i took a step back from twitter and facebook. i have never really liked twitter that much, its a place where people get hot headed easily and usually over silly stuff. like god forbid someone has a different opinion than yours. i prefer facebook always have, i wished i had more time to keep updated with @super_ram, @magpiejue and some of the other friends from here. do you spend much time online? does social media have an impact on your life?
  20. i think they were poor but i dont think that takes anything away from the way we played, notts looked a far better class than them. they looked uninterested and like a side not wanting to play as a team. it was honestly one of the worst away performances at meadow lane this season. we should have sealed the 4 goals we won by in the first half. call them the iron? more like a chocolate tea cup.
  21. twice luke williams has said the title is out of reach, mind games or not. how do you feel? 6 games left, i hate to say it but at this point i dont see wrexham dropping enough points for us to sneak back top. i do believe williams is hopeful that we can compete still when he said these comments about it being over, i just feel now it really is.
  22. Fleetwood Town 2-0 Lincoln City Peterborough United 1-1 Derby County Grimsby Town 1-2 Walsall Mansfield Town 1-0 Sutton United Stevenage 0-0 Salford City Altrincham 0-2 Southend United joker Boreham Wood 1-3 Eastleigh Wealdstone 0-1 Barnet
  23. it probably wont but if there is any doubt, i think it would be a huge risk to play him. i know we are thin up top, but risking a worse injury would derail the club further imo. i am hoping scott is ready to come back. its hard to know what with the club being quite hush hush on injuries and the local media not asking.
  24. i hope this will be a good thing for young fans, its nice that the club has setup something for them and of course the cheaper tickets should get quite a few down.
  25. i can see a few rotations being made due to players being on international duty, the biggest question i think is who will be in goal? if slocombe is not back and brooks is on international duties it leaves us to play mair in goal. jones is away, langstaff could be missing due to the knock he picked up. that itself could present problems, if hes fit enough to start due we risk playing him? if hes not, who will play upfront? ruben? there are many questions. hopefully some of the injured players will be able to return but nobody should be rushed back.
