  1. well done @Fan of Big Tone i am determined to start picking up points myself.
  2. very enjoyable read of our days in the national league, it was a good summary of the ups and downs. i think we grew and handled most setbacks well. whilst improving on the signing front. our first season we did not have the time to spend long in the recruitment department, signs had to be made and whilst they did have time to train we have grown from this point. i also share the same sentiments that winning the playoffs felt better than winning the league. that said, i would like to avoid going behind in two games only to win and going up as champions once again would be nice. though i would happily re do wembley all over again.
  3. i dont understand either, i think bournemouth have made a mistake and as for sheffield wednesday they may undo all the good that moore has done for the club. they are no longer a strong championship team and they need real guidance to stay up.
  4. brilliant signing, he looks a player on real quality and i think he will give us some flair in midfield. you dont get signed by arsenal without being able to play a certain way, if we can continue playing as we did last season, he will fit straight in and look like a player who has been here for much longer. i am very excited about his arrival.
  5. i am stoked about this signing, he seems a player of real quality and someone notts are lucky to have snapped up. i think he sees the ambition and forward direction in which the club is going. its a very good coup for notts, i am excited about this one.
  6. i think it makes more sense, with his injuries he probably wants to take a step back because he knows that it will help him in the long term. if he can stay fit and do well, he might attract interst or he could be a vital part of scunthrope uniteds revival. good luck to him, i hope cal manages to set the national league north on fire with his performances.
  7. unless @Chris has it on when you are around. ????
  8. it could be a moment in jodi jones international career that he remembers after retiring, to play against england and to be given a shirt afterwards. its something that is nice to see, i did not notice it happen until i saw it on social media. jodi has not even posted about it.
  9. it does not sound like my type of tv show, i have not seen or heard of it. is it new? i prefer more realistic drama based shows myself.
  10. i wished he had the chance to play for a bit at wembley but he was a firm part of the celebrations. his rallying to the players to stay calm, i think helped. i dont think jim could single hardly change the outcome of our relegation but him and michael doyle did make a difference. i am happy that jim o'brien is still here because he deserves to see the club back to where we belong. hes been very important to our journey moving forward.
  11. @Chris seems fixed for me too. i hope it did not confuse people and that they were out enjoying the nice weather. its been a bit slower today.
  12. no need to be sorry, i just thought i would mention it. it does not bother me that it happened, i still see both of my parents.
  13. unfortunately, yes. but he has been a season ticket holder at notts with my uncle for the past 3 seasons i think. he had been going to games the season we were relegated from the football league, at first it was for support because of the ah situation but i think hes enjoyed it. i did not take you post wrong or anything, but my parents are separated and its fine.
  14. i think we already follow each other, i think engaging with each outside of pon would be a nice touch. i have been doing this with tony, but i dont tend to tweet much because of unpleasant comments by some on there. i stay within my comfort and i think it would be nice to support our pon friends. is there a way we could create a circle between all of us? i dont really understand that feature tho. yes, i like allardyces tash. i wont tag dangeroussausage in but both of those two have a good sense of humour.
  15. @Chris @Fan of Big Tone i bet he was yelling at the players, shouting what are you doing and to shoot, you know on the crest of every emotion during the game. my dad and uncle are the same, they come back from games saying to me that notts played well, but will point out a certain moment and tell me that this should have been done. then say something about forest, i will joke about notts and he will say i like county but i am a red son. once you experience notts, its hard not to be come invested.
  16. just to mention when i came on just a few moments ago, i had to sign in again. i never have to sign in and i am wondering if its worth mentioning just incase its done the same with others who may forget their passwords. not a big thing, but i think i should mention it. thanks gaffer.
  17. does anyone think the 4 years so far has flown by? i know it will because things are good, but it just seems to have swept past. its a shame we could not skip the last two owners, as i think the reedtz would have us playing higher if they took over after we won league two. even skipping all the petty and stupid drama would be nice. those days when the bills had not been paid just dragged and dragged.
  18. @super_ram is great, i love reading his posts and the banter is something that the sites missed for ages. the prediction league used to make me smile with @DangerousSausage getting comments about the teams he would choose. just like @Joshua, i feel the same feel i have grown to know ???? and his family very well. i have mentioned before i dont have many friends from my school days, too many people thought i was weird and special (not in a good way). but it takes really nice people to put that faith in you, that it helps you come out and as i write this i am tearful. i think the world of the late @GrannyPie, but i am pleased to know super and i like him equally. super has always been supportive, always correcting me when i doubt myself and that had been drilled into my most of life life so i am glad that someone thinks otherwise. i dont care if hes a derby fan, i respect derby because of it and wish them well. i know secretly he is more a pie than a ram, hence why he is here and cheers us all up. i hope this does the same to him because hes a great person. thank you for making sure @Chris got the help he needed, i did not know completely and i think its amazing of you.
  19. after a busy day at work, this is great news to come home to. i am so pleased that kyle cameron has signed. he said on twitter that it had been signed for awhile, so the club has known where to build. hes a good captain and will only get better.
  20. i agree, his experience and character is a great thing to have the dressing room and club. we are lucky to have him and i hope he enjoys the season ahead. fingers crossed he impresses, i hope he would coach for notts down the lane.
  21. i really should follow some of the newer members, i think community focused things like this can and may bring fans together. i love seeing the banter between @super_ram, @Fan of Big Tone. Even @Fozzy is getting involved. #teamfozzy @DangerousSausage is also someone who tends to be community focused. i will make sure i follow the right people.
  22. i have not met tony in person but i have spoken to him on facebook, hes a good fan and passionate about notts. he does his own djing which i think is pretty cool. this is a great insight into his years of supporting notts.
  23. notts fans are proud to have you at notts, jodi. go and play your game against england and i hope you do well. a lot of us will be wishing the same thing. ???????? ????????
  24. he comes across as such a genuine person, i am looking forward to seeing him play for notts. i think this squad we are building will do well and with david mcgoldrick in the squad. i think we have the talent to push forward. seeing him turn down derby to come home, its something quite special and adds to the optimism i feel.
  25. some great points mentioned, if i was an oxford united fan i would be delighted to get ruben on a free. people might think its a big step up from national league but he did that convincingly, he should get more time on the ball and turn he should be able to use it more wisely. I am disappointed to see him go, not with him but because notts needs to make sure players are leaving on fees rather frees. we had plenty of time to talk him into signing a new deal, even if it was just another season. good luck to him though.
