  1. i agree, that scott is the player with the highest potential. when comes to 2nd or 3rd option but i think he will get game time from off the bench and maybe when the former changes. i don't see how morias fits in despite his talent.
  2. the write up of the interview is great, it reads very well and captions some brilliant responses.
  3. dan crowley is my choice, i think hes going to be class but all are great signings. i just feel like crowley will be the player that pulls a lot of our stringers and will excite us with his advanced position.
  4. Favourite Football Kit? 2011/12 for me. Best ground you've been to? wembley ???? chestefields otherwise Favourite player growing up? richard butcher possibly Who is your GOAT? ronaldo Favourite Football Video Game? fifa Favourite Football-based Movie? bend it like beckham Favourite Football Documentary? sunderland til i die First football match? i forget i think it was 2004 or 06 If you could watch just 1 football match for the rest of your life what would it be? us beating chesterfield at wembley Football never existed, what's your go to alternative? not sure You can change 1 decision in football history, what would it be? jimmy leaving the first time he left notts, i would talk him into staying.
  5. pace is needed in defence, i think we may have to replace aaron nemane. i think we could do with another proper left wing back. if we do go to get a new wing back, i would hope we sign someone more defensive minded and able to cross the ball, maybe they wont be as good as adam chicksen going forward but it would be a plus if they were better than him defensively.
  6. i would add a few books, like the history of notts county football club. include photos of tommy lawton, jackie sewell, mark stallard, tommy johnson, macaulay langstaff, colin slater, jack wheeler, jimmy sirrel, derek pavis. a bit of the pitch too.
  7. with the cost of living, i dont think its 'feasible' to pay my council tax. it is way to late now, it makes little sense to do it but i still think nottingham city council are a joke and biased. they seem to go out of their way to be awkward and uninterested in notts. like how they made it difficult to park around meadow lane without paying. they are only bothered about forest.
  8. very good news story just posted by @PON_News.
  9. everything about him sounds very promising, i think when you label a player sometimes that just hinders them and makes it harder for them to establish their own abilities. dan crowley looks to be a great signing. hes someone younger fans can look up to as well.
  10. i hope you both have a lovely time, did you get any presents or do you pass on them?
  11. @menzinho i think we should have faith in the master, i think we are going for depth and i do think this gives us the option to try mcgoldrick or crowley in rubens old role. austin may be pushed out wide, but its great to see how strong all these players are on paper.
  12. well done @Fan of Big Tone i am determined to start picking up points myself.
  13. very enjoyable read of our days in the national league, it was a good summary of the ups and downs. i think we grew and handled most setbacks well. whilst improving on the signing front. our first season we did not have the time to spend long in the recruitment department, signs had to be made and whilst they did have time to train we have grown from this point. i also share the same sentiments that winning the playoffs felt better than winning the league. that said, i would like to avoid going behind in two games only to win and going up as champions once again would be nice. though i would happily re do wembley all over again.
  14. i dont understand either, i think bournemouth have made a mistake and as for sheffield wednesday they may undo all the good that moore has done for the club. they are no longer a strong championship team and they need real guidance to stay up.
  15. brilliant signing, he looks a player on real quality and i think he will give us some flair in midfield. you dont get signed by arsenal without being able to play a certain way, if we can continue playing as we did last season, he will fit straight in and look like a player who has been here for much longer. i am very excited about his arrival.
  16. i am stoked about this signing, he seems a player of real quality and someone notts are lucky to have snapped up. i think he sees the ambition and forward direction in which the club is going. its a very good coup for notts, i am excited about this one.
  17. i think it makes more sense, with his injuries he probably wants to take a step back because he knows that it will help him in the long term. if he can stay fit and do well, he might attract interst or he could be a vital part of scunthrope uniteds revival. good luck to him, i hope cal manages to set the national league north on fire with his performances.
  18. with derby wanting to keep david mcgoldrick that for me showed how good it was for notts to see his homecoming return. he might be close to retirement but by stepping down it does prolong his career and as he has said himself. if he can help notts along the way, its only positive.
  19. i sent my dad a father dad card and a gift, i was not able to see him as he went away but i got the card to him early so that he got them before. i hope all the fathers on pon had a great day.
  20. unless @Chris has it on when you are around. ????
  21. happy birthday tony, hope you have a wonderful day! are you doing anything to celebrate it?
  22. * Age backwards: 2 * Steak or Seafood: steak * Italian or Chinese: chinese * Pepsi or Coke: coke * Chocolate or vanilla: vanilla * How many tattoos : no * Ever hit a deer: no * Last text from: my dad * Favourite season: summer * Broken bones: no * Beach or Mountain: mountain * Dogs or cats: dogs * Early morning person: yes * Surgeries: no * Favourite colour: light blue * Have you ever flown on a plane: no * Beer or Wine: wine * Mild or hot salsa: none * Waffles or pancakes: pancakes * Smooth or crunchy peanut butter: neither * Pineapple on pizza: i would pass on preference
  23. it could be a moment in jodi jones international career that he remembers after retiring, to play against england and to be given a shirt afterwards. its something that is nice to see, i did not notice it happen until i saw it on social media. jodi has not even posted about it.
  24. good luck to jordan richards, boston seem to have made some good signings so far. they might be able to have a good season.
  25. it may sound harsh but i have no interest, he was not someone who seemed connected to the squad. always appeared like a loner and i did not rate him as a footballer myself. he just never bothered with our fans, never put more effort in on goal. he rand and showed promise but never delivered.
