CEO position
its a position they will want to ensure can be around for years to come, a manager is an easier appointment i feel and we may have a group of people still being narrowed down. the club might have hired someone but decided to keep it quiet for a later stage. ???? we simply won't know until an official announcement.

Following Other Teams
me neither i dont really have the connection or interest in any other clubs.

Notts Countyβs First Five League Games: A Closer Look
i think its a good chance to build momentum like we did last season, in my personal opinion the bigger games are grimsby town and tranmere rovers but notts needs to treat them all the same. i think its also nice to get those two games out of the way nice and early, i think if we can build winning streaks like we did in the national league, confidence will grow. i am very much looking forward to the new season.

Macaulay Langstaff on Target in Notts County's Pre-Season Triumph
the way notts plays, any striker will get chances and i think macaulay langstaff benefits from this but hes still a superb finisher. im glad we have managed to keep him so far.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Teamβs Performance in First Pre-Season Friendly
it was good to see how different both teams were setup, i think the first was a bit more defensive minded and the second had more attacking options. it was good to david mcgoldrick. jim o brien was superb. aidan stone looks like a good keeper to have between the sticks. i hope he plays against stoke.

That Peter Crouch Film
yes, liverpool fans were great and the boring from england supporters seems harsh. i dont think they would know because crouch has earned the respect of everyone but i think there is a lesson there for others who did not support him.

Meta to launch Twitter rival
new members may have less time for pon with another social network and people undecided about twitter. but chris understood what i meant. it just takes people to get familiar with pon, there is loads of ways in which you have made sure fans can find content. it just takes that person preference and a bit of time to commit. i just felt encouraged by the new members joining. it feels like the hard work put into pon is finally being noticed.

Notts Countyβs Luke Williams on Building a Competitive Squad for League Two
when did we last have a squad like this? there are players who would make my starting 11, but others who could come in at any point. there are no players that have been signed who i dont think could start or be a key player. this is the first time in ages that i believe we have had so much depth in this area. luke williams is building well and i just appreciate his views on this. hes leading by example.

Oldham v Chesterfield
i think boreham wood will be in a shout for promotion, i can see chesterfield doing well but oldham i cant see being in a title race myself.

Where are they now? Michael Doyle
after he was sacked from forest green rovers, he kept coming back to notts. i thought the way he jumped ship with ian burchnall was more of an opportunist that the wwe wrestler edge. i dont know why fans worship him over the likes of jim o brien. i also dont know why i am surprised to see him go back to portsmouth. he probably tried coventry too, only to be told we are good thanks.

Adam Summerton on League 2
bradford city, tranmere rovers and mk dons all have better chances than grimsby. at least in my opinion. i think stockport will be a little slower to pick up from last season but will do well. us and wrexham should be up there for sure.

Meta to launch Twitter rival
will this mean pon wont see new members join in and they will just go there? eion musk is turning twitter into a self harming website, everything he does is harming it. mark zuckerberg mean while is a shark waiting to have everyones information. i can see it making musk change his tone and stance on a few things.

Nice gesture by Stoke FC
great gesture, something they did not have to do but have which is great,, i hope notts makes a donation to, instead of leaving it for us fans to donate.

The Weekly 25/6 - 2/7
monday to friday i had work. i went to my mums after on tuesday, fetched some shopping for her. i need to remind myself to send a message to super. on the weekend i cant say much happened. i am glad you got to meet up with your friends @Megan_Elizax. did you go somewhere to eat or was it more causal?

That Peter Crouch Film
i recently watched it and i thought it was good to see how things panned out, peter's wife seems incredible and her support seemed to have helped him through his liverpool days where he struggled to get on the score sheet. harry redknapp and graham taylor both shown why they were good managers spotting peters potential. i think when you go into football, unfortunately you have to accept it for what it is. fans will poke fun of you, provided its not racist etc, you have to just get on with it. its a very good documentary. thanks for suggesting it @KB1862.

Notts County Fans Eager for Return to Football League
i cant wait, either. i think the back of the promotion at wembley and the recruitment again has played a big part in why i am looking forward to the season. i generally do, even when we have had bad seasons and poor owners, with those antics thankfully seeming like a thing of the past. gareth jones comment about the reedtz rings home, i am very thankful for their leadership.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Boro (A)
the score is unimportant, so i would like to just see the lads express themselves and treat the friendly for what it is. a good run out. naturally i hope they put on a good performance and if the sides are mixed, it should allow us to see which players do what. a very useful exercise for luke williams and the coaching team. i am interested who will start in rubens position.

Notts Alumni: Mick Vinter
he sounds like a great signing that helped us fight against the bigger clubs, he may have moved on but what he achieved at notts is everlasting as his contributions to all the teams he played for. rest in peace, mick vinter.

Luke Williams on new signings and departures at Notts County
losing ruben was a blow but i think dan crowley or david mcgoldrick will be good replacements. the new signings give us a lot of depth.
-
Aaron Nemane agrees to new two-year contract with Notts County
this is great news, we all know what aaron nemane brings to the squad and i think the new deal brings a lot of confidence. also, luke williams handling of this has been excellent.
-
Nemane signs at last
i am glad hes signed a new deal, i do think @TheSkipper was right that luke williams knew the situation and it was either the case of giving him more time, allowing him to handle something or the club holding back the news. either way its great to have aaron nemane still here, so we only lost ruben. i am delighted that we are making to retain players, rather than more exiting for other clubs.

IFAB Penalty Rule for Goalkeepers
i think at the end of the day, these changes take away some of the parts which gives a keeper some advantage over the penalty taker, i think there is room to do this but without being over the top. a goalkeeper should be able to touch the net, crossbar and posts. i dont see how this would greatly effect a penalty taker, i am sure it can be distracting but its not as controversial as walking up to the taker or slowly going into goal, then trying to buy some time in delaying it. if the keepers are having limitation applied, i would like to see more stricter rules on penalty takers. you arent supposed to be able to stop when taking the ball, yet some do when they slow do. this should not be allowed under the new rules. when notts played chesterfield, their first penalty taker acted like he was going somewhere else, then turned around and ran to the ball. this should not be allowed as it delays the keeper. basically, i just want to see a fair system for keeper and penalty taker. both of which should have some liberty with their decision before a pen is taken. if one cant, neither should the other.
