it is poor that we cant defend set pieces all that well and if the opposition cram bodies into out penalty box, the defending becomes like headless chicksens but at least these are a lot more fewer because of how good we can be on the ball.

i think its still a good result, we are a step closer to securing the 2nd place which will be helpful for the playoffs. its just that the two points dropped makes fighting for the title even harder, i dont think we will catch them now and that is frustrating. i am incredibly proud of the squad for what they have and are achieving. over 100 points would be a great accomplishment.

its not the result we wanted but i am proud of the notts squad, we cant always win but at least we can keep pushing forward. the amount of points gained, brooks making his way into the team, the squad fighting for promotion are all highlights. its not over until its mathematically impossible no matter anyone says. -
i dont like reading some of the tweets and posts to the official accounts on social media, i get some fans are disappointed but this season has been incredible. its not even over, we cant take much notice of williams saying its over. it will only be over when its no longer possible to overtake them but it seems unlikely. a 1-1 draw against barnet is not the worst result, second half sounded brighter from notts. we have had a fair run of games, its a positive season and many good things have happened.

@menzinho there is a lot of mainsteam interest, but only for wrexham which i do understand given their owners. the way media companies think they focus on what they can hype, other than langstaff there is nothing attractive about notts and hes probably not that well known to fans above our level much. maybe by local teams, but certainly not as wide as the attention mullin gets. its quite frustrating. our achievement i think is a lot more meaningful because we have transitioned more naturally, but i do see similarities in when we were owned by munto. i bet rochdale and the others were equally frustrated that we grabbed all the headlines.

basford are a decent team but if hes been sent somewhere higher up that will play him it can only be a good thing. i hope to see him make his notts league debut at some point, he looked good in the pre season.

nice words, it makes a change to see something complimentary to notts. i think its the same for both teams tho, without their pressure we may have fallen short sooner. its been a great see for both clubs, a good title race too.

a big test for notts, away from home and somewhere the points are vital to be picked on. barnet should be in or around the playoffs come the end of the season, i can see them wanting to win to push further on up and to maximise their chance of securing the playoffs so its all to play for.

beautifully crated and taken goals, notts get a surge in their play in the second half and thankfully the goal came early enough to pressure them in to defeat.

i thought the ref made some bizarre calls but instead of being biased, just completely incompetent. i need to see the highlights to judge the penalty he gave for eastleigh to open up the score, but from what i saw i think it was more them grabbing our players and ours trying to get them off. possibly something they trained on as a way to get a penalty? i think they looked pretty poor. thankfully we had the time and creativity to change the outcome. ruben missing the penalty was a bit of a disappointment but joe mcdonnell did well to make his double save.

bit of a weird club to join, i thought he would want to leave for a club more likely to push for promotion. i think his spell at dagenham may have caused issues to his stock value though.

as of yet i have not seen the highlights but i thought their penalty was highly controversial. i mean the amount of hand balls they made that could have been given, to the one the ref actually gave. if that is, why was the others ignored? i loved langstaff for trying to get the ball back quickly and encouraging the attacks. i thought all of the players did extremely well against a team that tried to kick them off the park. -
his consistency and importance has been incredible this season, he will be one of the main contenders i feel for play of the season which unlike most others this year has at least 5 or more strong contenders. the amount he does on the pitch seems crazy at times because hes all over it.

i agree with @Richo, hes the most improved. we are lucky that every player has played their role in our season but adam chicksen has been on a another level this season. hes been fantastic!

i am very pleased for matt palmer, i thought he deserved a goal with that excellent performance. he worked his socks off!

i hope fans remember that he did well for us, its just that adam chicksen secured the position. taylor always gave 100% and whilst i think its sad to see him go, at the same time it makes sense. i dont think we need to worry about the left hand side, if the club has concerns i am sure they will bring someone in when ready. i think the priority is to ensure we still have fire power up front.

last season we had a 2-0 win over them but i am mindful that they can cause problems that prevent chances. they know this league well and wont be push overs. we need to see a strong away performance, at least thats what i hope for. whatever the outcome, i refuse to feel defeated.

i think hes done well when he comes in, at times i actually think he deserves a run in the team. the way he can go through players is magical at times. he does not look like a player who can be that skilful but he does it gracefully. deffo a great addition to the team.

the way dorking scored it reminded me of why we are in the national league, it was careless defending but i do feel jim o brien could have tried to get his foot on the ball. hes not to blame solely for the goal but dorking worked the chance well and to their advantage. a different team may have choked to finish that chance. i did wonder how we would score when we hit the post and forced their defenders to block so many efforts on goal. i thought they were going to park the bus and if we had not scored, i think that would have made it harder. thankfully notts worked hard to get back in, i think everyone who played did well. fantastic win in front of the biased bt sports cameras.

"Big credit to Notts County for the way they handled this - between us we’ve shown how moves in football can still get done properly and above board.” fgr owner. burchnall wanted out, he complained about the fans in interviews and the media towards the end. the club act in a professional manner and allow him to go despite his contract. he got what he wanted. i think hes a bit of a snake personally.

very good play by notts to get back into the game, i thought dorking made it difficult at first and they looked decent on the counter. once notts upped the pressure, we become unstoppable. good result! -
i think he will stay, all the players out of contract this summer are important squad players but kyle cameron is a must to nail down. i hope he does extend his stay as he seems settled, ruben and chicksen are also not far behind him in terms of players i hope remain at the club.
