Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
promising, i do think if we get off to a good start that notts can really push for a top 3 finish. the squad we are putting together looks good enough, fixtures are promising. with the right results, who knows?

Charlie Slater interviews David McGoldrick
the write up of the interview is great, it reads very well and captions some brilliant responses.

Notts County’s Permanent Signings: Who’s Your Favourite?
dan crowley is my choice, i think hes going to be class but all are great signings. i just feel like crowley will be the player that pulls a lot of our stringers and will excite us with his advanced position.

Dan Crowley signs
very good news story just posted by @PON_News.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
everything about him sounds very promising, i think when you label a player sometimes that just hinders them and makes it harder for them to establish their own abilities. dan crowley looks to be a great signing. hes someone younger fans can look up to as well.

Dan Crowley signs
@menzinho i think we should have faith in the master, i think we are going for depth and i do think this gives us the option to try mcgoldrick or crowley in rubens old role. austin may be pushed out wide, but its great to see how strong all these players are on paper.

The Highs and Lows of Notts County’s National League Years: Overcoming Adversity
very enjoyable read of our days in the national league, it was a good summary of the ups and downs. i think we grew and handled most setbacks well. whilst improving on the signing front. our first season we did not have the time to spend long in the recruitment department, signs had to be made and whilst they did have time to train we have grown from this point. i also share the same sentiments that winning the playoffs felt better than winning the league. that said, i would like to avoid going behind in two games only to win and going up as champions once again would be nice. though i would happily re do wembley all over again.

Dan Crowley signs
brilliant signing, he looks a player on real quality and i think he will give us some flair in midfield. you dont get signed by arsenal without being able to play a certain way, if we can continue playing as we did last season, he will fit straight in and look like a player who has been here for much longer. i am very excited about his arrival.

Notts County signs former Arsenal academy graduate Dan Crowley on 2-year-deal
i am stoked about this signing, he seems a player of real quality and someone notts are lucky to have snapped up. i think he sees the ambition and forward direction in which the club is going. its a very good coup for notts, i am excited about this one.

Cal Roberts joins Scunthorpe United
i think it makes more sense, with his injuries he probably wants to take a step back because he knows that it will help him in the long term. if he can stay fit and do well, he might attract interst or he could be a vital part of scunthrope uniteds revival. good luck to him, i hope cal manages to set the national league north on fire with his performances.

Jim O’Brien reflects on his journey with Notts County
i wished he had the chance to play for a bit at wembley but he was a firm part of the celebrations. his rallying to the players to stay calm, i think helped. i dont think jim could single hardly change the outcome of our relegation but him and michael doyle did make a difference. i am happy that jim o'brien is still here because he deserves to see the club back to where we belong. hes been very important to our journey moving forward.

Make friends and find new content, Follow, follow, follow ????
i think we already follow each other, i think engaging with each outside of pon would be a nice touch. i have been doing this with tony, but i dont tend to tweet much because of unpleasant comments by some on there. i stay within my comfort and i think it would be nice to support our pon friends. is there a way we could create a circle between all of us? i dont really understand that feature tho. yes, i like allardyces tash. i wont tag dangeroussausage in but both of those two have a good sense of humour.

Reedtz Brothers Era "Feels like a good dream"
does anyone think the 4 years so far has flown by? i know it will because things are good, but it just seems to have swept past. its a shame we could not skip the last two owners, as i think the reedtz would have us playing higher if they took over after we won league two. even skipping all the petty and stupid drama would be nice. those days when the bills had not been paid just dragged and dragged.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Commits Future to Club
after a busy day at work, this is great news to come home to. i am so pleased that kyle cameron has signed. he said on twitter that it had been signed for awhile, so the club has known where to build. hes a good captain and will only get better.

Why Jim O’Brien’s Extended Stay at Notts County is Great News
i agree, his experience and character is a great thing to have the dressing room and club. we are lucky to have him and i hope he enjoys the season ahead. fingers crossed he impresses, i hope he would coach for notts down the lane.

Make friends and find new content, Follow, follow, follow ????
i really should follow some of the newer members, i think community focused things like this can and may bring fans together. i love seeing the banter between @super_ram, @Fan of Big Tone. Even @Fozzy is getting involved. #teamfozzy @DangerousSausage is also someone who tends to be community focused. i will make sure i follow the right people.

Notts County Fan Tony Poppa Bear Wood Shares His Story
i have not met tony in person but i have spoken to him on facebook, hes a good fan and passionate about notts. he does his own djing which i think is pretty cool. this is a great insight into his years of supporting notts.

Jodi Jones on Representing Malta and Playing Against England
notts fans are proud to have you at notts, jodi. go and play your game against england and i hope you do well. a lot of us will be wishing the same thing. ???????? ????????

David McGoldrick: "I've learned that money doesn't bring happiness"
he comes across as such a genuine person, i am looking forward to seeing him play for notts. i think this squad we are building will do well and with david mcgoldrick in the squad. i think we have the talent to push forward. seeing him turn down derby to come home, its something quite special and adds to the optimism i feel.
-
Oxford United adds goal-scoring playmaker Rúben Rodrigues to squad
some great points mentioned, if i was an oxford united fan i would be delighted to get ruben on a free. people might think its a big step up from national league but he did that convincingly, he should get more time on the ball and turn he should be able to use it more wisely. I am disappointed to see him go, not with him but because notts needs to make sure players are leaving on fees rather frees. we had plenty of time to talk him into signing a new deal, even if it was just another season. good luck to him though.

Notts County retains key player Jim O’Brien for another season
yes! i am over the moon that jim has decided to stay for another season. i am really happy with how he performed last season. i do feel he has earned it and still offers us a lot.

Ruben Rodrigues bids farewell to Meadow Lane as exits Notts County
we knew this was going to happen but it was a case to who, i would have rather seen him join derby county. hes a good player but did have his inconsistent moments that all players do have. i am hoping sam austin will get the push to be the long term replacement, i dont think we need to go out and sign someone to fill this especially with david mcgoldrick signing.
