  1. i really should follow some of the newer members, i think community focused things like this can and may bring fans together. i love seeing the banter between @super_ram, @Fan of Big Tone. Even @Fozzy is getting involved. #teamfozzy @DangerousSausage is also someone who tends to be community focused. i will make sure i follow the right people.
  2. i have not met tony in person but i have spoken to him on facebook, hes a good fan and passionate about notts. he does his own djing which i think is pretty cool. this is a great insight into his years of supporting notts.
  3. notts fans are proud to have you at notts, jodi. go and play your game against england and i hope you do well. a lot of us will be wishing the same thing. ???????? ????????
  4. he comes across as such a genuine person, i am looking forward to seeing him play for notts. i think this squad we are building will do well and with david mcgoldrick in the squad. i think we have the talent to push forward. seeing him turn down derby to come home, its something quite special and adds to the optimism i feel.
  5. some great points mentioned, if i was an oxford united fan i would be delighted to get ruben on a free. people might think its a big step up from national league but he did that convincingly, he should get more time on the ball and turn he should be able to use it more wisely. I am disappointed to see him go, not with him but because notts needs to make sure players are leaving on fees rather frees. we had plenty of time to talk him into signing a new deal, even if it was just another season. good luck to him though.
  6. Use your trusty ram... ????????
  7. the gaffer has added some excellent content since this was last updated, i thought i would help and try to encourage the readers of my message to give them a read. dont forgot to leave a comment if you have something to say.
  8. this is brilliant news, i think he is far the better player we signed in hope to keeping us in the football league. i am glad he will get the chance to play for us again in league two and work towards us establishing ourselves as hopefully a top half team. which is what we deserve! great news.
  9. yes! i am over the moon that jim has decided to stay for another season. i am really happy with how he performed last season. i do feel he has earned it and still offers us a lot.
  10. we knew this was going to happen but it was a case to who, i would have rather seen him join derby county. hes a good player but did have his inconsistent moments that all players do have. i am hoping sam austin will get the push to be the long term replacement, i dont think we need to go out and sign someone to fill this especially with david mcgoldrick signing.
  11. i am saddened to see him leave, i will remember his contributions and appreciate how he worked tirelessly towards helping us gain promotion. i think he has been a good player for us for the three seasons, its just a shame we could not have gotten a fee for him. then again we did get jodi jones who i actually think is the much better player. i wish ruben all the best at oxford, i hope they dont waste his talent but the doors always open for a return if that is the case.
  12. i think i remember him being linked with us when ah owned the club, i dont know much about him as a football. i dont think wiki says a lot of useful things, but if hes being watched by notts there is a reason. this could also be made up, who knows.
  13. its insane what has happened and i think it shows that anything can happen. we need to stay visual on our surroundings and look out for others, i find things like this to be very sad. a lot of gossip at work has mentioned it as being a terrorist attack? there not a lot of useful information out that you can read about the incident. to any nottingham based member, please be careful and take care. moments like this make you see how lucky we can be and how sad the world has become.
  14. i think he tweeted it to show us what we have with ruben going to his former team. these kind of videos are usually used when players are out of contract, well you see them sharing videos of footage of where they play well a lot of the time in those situations. jodi looks very good in the video tho.
  15. my workplace has finally managed to get the royal mail to move their parcels from our car park, so as of last thursday i could drive to work. i quite liked catching the bus, it was different so not all complaints. it is nice to be able to go straight home without waiting or having to put up with other people. as it is nice to be able to hear myself think, without loud music or shouting. work has actually been good this week too, my hours are becoming more routine and less over time. i have been doing overtime for at least since we returned to work from covid. so, its nice to have some more free time. i had been doing some gardening as i noticed the edges and bushes needed tidying. its been a bit too warm to do it for long but i enjoy it on saturday.
  16. i dont like him either, i thought he shown us up and reacted badly to some fans on twitter. i wish bury well though.
  17. very smart, its good to see the effort hes put in. some footballers dont bother.
  18. i think its interesting to say that he has tried to get to games, he must have gone in the executive area. interesting story.
  19. why has hardly anyone mentioned this? its a great story of triumph. it's a really good video, hope they do well. maybe we can adapt them? ????
  20. i think hes spoken well in his first interview back at the club, i did not realise he supported notts. i hope he does well and settles in well. i think he will do well instantly connecting with our existing squad. we need a chant just for him and one for + john bostock.
  21. i only saw jodi jones play in the playoff games and i thought he was ace, he looked way better than league two standard. i thought he would become a hot property in the championship and shoot from there, but its unfortunate that an injury derailed his career. hes found a club where he can re build. i think he could become a bigger legend at notts than at coventry. his help in the national league has helped this, he played a massive part in that.
  22. i have been gardening today, for the most part. just tidying things and cutting the bushes and hedge back. it looks a lot neater, not that everything was overgrown but it should stop some of the disapproving looks i notice. front garden is lethal with the way it catches the sun, the backgarden is very shaded, once i finished i just sat in the back garden with my phone browsing sites. it was that nice i thought about buying a hammock to put between two trees. ???? tomorrow i am at my mums.
  23. he left us because he was not getting the game time, hes doing the same with boreham wood. he spoke about wanting football league football but seems he cant fight his way into squads. i think chesterfield or someone like that might express interest.
  24. i need to get the builders into my home now, i know what i need and i know what will make my life complete. automated everything! i need a smarter home in my life. ????
  25. @Fan of Big Tone that would ruin the club, thats basically 90% of the derek pavis stand. ???????? sorry! lol i dont think i would speak to them, i would be to nervous and i think i would not know what to say., i do think they have done an incredible job for us and i hope they just how thankful we are as supporters.
