  1. during major competitions like the world cup, i support underdogs and take an interest in them. for example, canada in the last world cup i thought they did well and showed some real spirit. costa rica too. otherwise its just zimbabwe, ireland and now malta.
  2. ollie was doing a cracking job, i thought he had picked up from leigh curtis who was set in his ways and ollie took that torch and ran with it. the coverage had been so much better, i really cant understand why the nep and bbc radio nottingham are cutting back on notts. the post is a shambles but i feel sorry for their writers because they do try.
  3. i thought he acted like a spoilt person when he complained waiting inside a car, whilst everyone else was getting wet and all hes bothered about is being bored. i had heard he was mardy but that was pathetic, it was his special day. how spoil can a grown man be? tell me about it, the royal mail have things to collect from my work place but nobody turns up. if by some chance a van does come to collect goods, they only take certain things and not everything marked for their collection. i am also sick of how late i get letters, or that my mail ends up at my neighbours addresses and not mine. this could be a good way have a laugh and a good moan.
  4. did he play in midfield @CliftonMagpie?
  5. i am not just saying this because he returned, but i missed @Fan of Big Tone. i know how much he was missed by @super_ram, @GrannyPie and @Chris. im just glad that he is back! @KB1862 is great when he has time, i know he will back when time allows. @TheCalFoster is another who comes and goes, but i like reading his thoughts. he always writes them in a way you can relate too, even if you dont agree or feel hes just upset. you can respect that. @Riverleeno disappeared suddenly, he is also someone i liked to read their comments. i then think of when @MuddyPatchPie would pop on and contribute i thought she was great too. @Cobby posts on the facebook group of pons, i wished he had time for the site. even @magpiejue i looked forward to seeing her replies and miss them when she does not come on. so many wonderful people that makes the pon community. even one comment a week would be nice to see.
  6. please comment in the topic started by @Fan of Big Tone attached below, regarding jodi jones signing permanently on a 2 year deal.
  7. the post was mentioned the last time when rubens contract was up for renewal, they rejected in their paper that he was being scouted to sign but admitted he was on their radar. things might have changed with him becoming more consistent and having his best season yet. i have not heard the derby rumour, i know ipswich and barnsley had been rumoured to be interested.
  8. bostock vs wrexham but the club will give it to one of langstaffs goals so he sweeps 3 awards.
  9. nice, will be lounging by the sea and taking paddles in the water? it would not happen to be near agios georgios would it? have a good time!
  10. this is terrible, i never thought that this might be the case. such a sad thing. rest in peace @Who r ya?? You Pies!!. you were a very nice person pete, fly high mate.
  11. where are you going tony? i hope its somewhere nice. just let me know where, I can track the international man of mystery then! believe it or not, i don't drink alcohol at all.
  12. i really cant comment on players i would like to see the club sign, but i will say that connor lemonheigh-evans should only be signed if ruben rodrigues leaves. i was not all that impressed with his loan here. he barely made an impact and seemed to want the glory, than to be a team player. if hes happy to sit on the bench most of the time and work hard to play, then maybe. otherwise i think its a waste of wages.
  13. yes, i believe 7 players can be named, i thought for a second the efl had decided to allow 7 active subs in games that would be insane. thankfully, its just the amount that can be named on the bench and it should give more fringe players a chance to come on in games. whilst allowing luke williams to select players to cover more than just certain areas. i.e midfielders and 1 striker.
  14. @Joshua i get what you are saying but its probably perspective and being interviewed at the same time. chloe does well on the magpie circle, when i have seen her on it. i thought it was brilliant and i am pleased i managed to listen to it.
  15. i for one would not subscribe to ifollow and use a vpn to save money on games, i have renewed my season ticket and my seat cant be replaced. if they cover away games, that might be useful because i work some satrudays and would not be able to get to coaches to travel.
  16. i can wish them well without being biased, staying up in the premier league is a good achievement even if they throw a lot of money to do it. many other clubs would and i am not bitter to say any different. thats about the extent of how much i care. i dont really pay any attention to them otherwise.
  17. thank you @Fan of Big Tone ♥
  18. i wake up at 6am at the moment to bike it to work, otherwise i would get up an hour later and drive. i dont wake up early on sundays, that is my lie-in day.
  19. future 'signing of the season' for pon at the end of the upcoming season i feel. superb! massive coup for us and something which may have a knock on effect with the other players who have been offered new deals.
  20. can i follow you @Fan of Big Tone?
  21. this is brilliant news, jodi is a great signing for notts! i am well happy.
  22. @DangerousSausage im begging you to do it, it will be a brilliant feature! i hope you would have the time. 🏳
  23. macaulay langstaff is not like most players, in his down time he decides to go back home and meets people at his former school. look at all the excited faces on the childrens faces. if we can get that response from fans in nottingham, we may get some more young supporters on board. i wished notts would give free school tickets again, not just to these football groups. its what got me hooked!
  24. its a right mess now, all the time spent on it and we end up with a very ugly futuristic car park, a walkway that still looks like a road and an eye sore where broadmash used to stand.
