  1. i think its not actually been that bad either, the standard of football for me turned out to be better. there are too many teams in league two that just lump the ball forward or use their physicality to muscle out play. i preferred the 4 years in the fifth tier more than most of the seasons i have seen us in league two. under our current ownership, squad and how more on board the fan base is due to all this, its promising.
  2. all the videos are extremely well produced and are something to cap off the season, i think the media team are starting to come into their element. you always see one of them running around with a camera, which is just brilliant to see. i watched this on the way to work [i travelled via the bus due to no parking at work currently] and it just makes me love this club all the more. we have had such a bad spell to have a complete change, its refreshing, exciting and promising. @Fan of Big Tone i think the video didn't link because of the .be in the domain. i usually just press on the share button underneath videos and then paste that in, the site does the rest.
  3. @Fan of Big Tone it could be you next season. i do think next year it will be harder to choose though. lets keep going! its really nice to have you back.
  4. they always do this with notts though, any chance the council get to pretend notts does not exist whilst sucking up to forest. i bet theirs was not cheap but quite rightly happened. as a footballing city we should have the chance to celebrate. its a mistake if they thought out fans would take it quietly, i do hope people in the club have been fighting our corner too. i cringed when i thought alan hardy wanted to pay for it, he needs banning from notts county.
  5. he can play pretty much everywhere in midfield, but either side of the wing is where he has settled. good at defending too. its only in recent seasons he has played more on the right.
  6. good interview, the questions could have been more original. it covered most of the stuff which everyone else has and that damped it for me. its nice to luke williams being invited on but asking him better questions would have been nice. have a different insight to things.
  7. i think when it suites the nottingham post we feature, i like the new reporter i think hes great and works hard. its just the people over him that have neglected notts for far too long, fans complain but will buy it in their drones the moment something like this is published. as i say, its nice but the lack of focus on notts due to our status is annoying. we should be on the main navigation too. not just forest.
  8. how far is matlock from nottingham? its in the peak district right? i might drive to it if anyone if anyone is interested? @Chris @CliftonMagpie @TheSkipper. i know its early, just think about it.
  9. i will let him off because its been a good season and since joining us he has been a good player fighting to get us promoted. i do think hes either drunk to much or cant handle it. i hope he has someone sensible around him to make sure hes okay.
  10. poor scunthopre hes not the best keeper, he makes too many mistakes for the level they play. i also dont like how he fist bumped both times chesterfield scored against us at meadow lane earlier this past season and kissed the badge. it came across as insulting because he was part of the team that took us down, no respect.
  11. yes, @Chris. considering your limitations both of those videos are epic too.
  12. i hope the fans who managed to share this special experience truly appreciate how this moment in time feels compared to all the upset, i am glad the club allowed fans to be one. i hope they give us who have not had the chance a way to feel a part of it but it is a special time in notts countys history. i am pleased for everyone involved.
  13. it would be nice if notts could ride the waves of this promotion and go again, to eventually return to the championship. we are a family club, which sometimes is overlooked but it would be great to see us playing at the highest possible level. i dont think the premier league is all that realistic with the amount of money it takes, but several clubs have managed to do it on a very tight budget. i am just cautious about it leading to instability after all our work to avoid it. i am quite happy bouncing from the championship to league one.
  14. oh wow, this is excellent. it would be cool if someone did this and had footage of the key games playing out. with the table showing of those goals effected the table rather than the repeated player graphics but its still cool. thanks for sharing it @yelobeli, its nice to see you joining in.
  15. probably not, @Chris does not seem to blame people when it comes to missing penalties. with the amount of pressure when taking one, i think i would miss every time.
  16. it reminds me of the video @Chris did the season we went down, well it was done before as a way to try to encourage the fight against relegation. it is a very well produced video, something i think notts are getting better at. the whole wembley coverage was amazing, i dont know if the clubs started to hire outside help but its a good thing. things seem a lot more polished.
  17. more like left back @super_ram, you and me both. i can barely kick a ball but at least on pon all that matters is be able to express yourself and have fun!
  18. the pressure on scott would have been huge, he did look nervous but he just smashed the ball. i dont think ross would have saved a penalty if we kept taking them for 24 hours straight.
  19. please dont be nervous, i think we all miss you and for me i respect the apology, but i dont think you needed to say it. lets just move on and focus on catching up. since you took your break, my life has changed a fair amount. i drive now, i have my own home and i live in beeston. i still go on bike rides etc. what have you been up to?
  20. its a good article, i am not used to people posting all this good stuff on our club. the picture they used looks like archie mair is about the score an own goal by bicycle kicking it into his own net.
  21. its made the club rethink things and the reedtz stick to a plan, i think its been the best thing that has happened in truth. the football has not been that bad and we have always been one of the upper half teams. its given us enough time to form a team that could go the distance again. its all about adding quality and going again.
  22. this is adorable, how old are they? i think even without notts being promoted that would be enough to make you happy. just to get a note from them. ❤
  23. i think macaulay langstaff will be here for another season, hes a good striker and i think clubs may just track him for another year. that said it just takes one club to put in a bid to activate a bidding war. there are plenty of teams that would most likely cough up £2m. will any offer more? its unlikely but middlesbrough are a team that in the past do shell out money to get their targets.
  24. they can keep their hands off him, hes going nowhere. reading would be a difficult task for him, hes got everything here at his hands and a chance to improve further.
  25. i would keep slocombe i think he can still be one of the best keepers in league two. francis and mitchell is the only player i would have a release marked as. i hope jim o rbrien stays because hes a good experienced player, vincent could improve with game time again. rawlinson is fine to be given another year deal.
