Ground share with F*rest
@DangerousSausage i dont think we should worry about people who just want the land, as if those types got hold of our club we would not be in a good position. not like our current owners. the same argument could be said about the council being awkward about the land. there was some talk awhile ago about them charging more for renewing, i also remember talk of issues when munto took over. a club should own its ground and training facilities in my opinion because it offers much more security than it does not.

Team Talk - Notts TV
has charlie mcparland defected to mansfield now he works for them? ???? i think mansfield will fall short, so i agree with kelvin wilson on that. i might try to watch the catch up show, just for more laughs.

Curtis Thompson joins Cheltenham
just one year? a bit odd that, unless it was at curtis thompsons request. he should do well and prove to be one of their better players, provided they play him and fit him well into their system. good luck to him.

Captain Kyle Cameron Discusses Notts Countyβs Training Regime
i am looking forward to seeing how they compare to other teams, its going to be an interesting season but i think our preparation and focus on training will pay off. its almost on level with what you would expect from the top two divisions in terms of how hard we are preparing. i hope it pays off, but i am excited for our chances of gaining promotion.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Us (A)
i am going to predict a 2-0 win in notts favour, i think sutton will make it hard with both goals coming in each period of the game. the first and second half. a clean sheet on opening day would be worth its weight in gold for morale and moving forward. its gone slow at times, but only the odd week. pre season has flown by, as did the period we signed the new recruits. it was between those when it seemed to stall.

BBC RNS Dave Bracegirdle pre eve of season thoughts
thank you for sharing it, i like dave. i think he speaks a lot of sense. i am pleased hes taken on the role of covering notts. i think this is all fair, we need to aiming for the highest possible position.

Ground share with F*rest
i would hate this, i love meadow lane and i hope our owners eventually try to buy the stadium. that would limit this from cropping up and if we are to be a successful club i think its a must we do own the ground outright. not just the stadium, we need to own the land.

Charlie Slater's Notts preview
it was very short and more about the players thoughts, i thought it seemed a bit rushed if i am perfectly honest. the angels when charlie spoke sitting down was weird, with the focus on trying to get the group of fans in the background. it was good to see but i wished the bbc east midlands today would not rush these things. its out of charlies hands.

Weekend Plans - Friday 4th - Sunday 6th
i have just got home from work, its been relentless today with pallets and shipments going in and out. i had stay a little later than normal, just to make sure there was no delays for our partners. i dont mind, because i feel its days like this where we can feel proud for being one of the best in ensuring businesses get their products on time. its not always the case but we work well as a team and go above the standard of others imo. tomorrow i will be going to see notts take on sutton united. i will be picking up @CliftonMagpie, after popping by my mums and then driving to the train station to fetch @TheSkipper. then its onto getting to london ahead of kick off. sunday i have no plans as of now but i will update this when i do.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Aims for Top Three in League Two
when asked in the forum after promotion where i felt notts would finish next season, i said 1st but anywhere within the playoffs would be a good achievement. i would not say i expect this, because i am happy with just seeing the club remain in league two. i acknowledge that it is difficult to come up and sometimes things do not go to plan. however, the squad all work hard and luke williams is just amazing with how on point he is. i feel kyle cameron is excited just as much as me, i agree with him that a top 3 place is up for grabs and i can see us doing it things go well.

Notts County Ready for League Two: Manager Luke Williams Shares Insights
i think luke williams will be privately fancying our chances, this is just him playing it down but if we play how we know we can. he surely must feel that we are good enough to get the results. he is right though, 10 games in will say a lot and i like his calmness as always. he speaks well, its from the heart and although i believe hes reserved with his own predictions. he shows a understanding that we cant just jump the gun.

Will there be a summer this year?
it would be nice @KB1862, but it could be worse. at least we do have warmish dry days where things can be done. the constant rain after that is annoying but it will change at some point. a warmer october is coming. its not, i just said that. ????

Luke Williams : Pre Sutton v Notts
it feels like christmas despite being two days a way, it feels strange knowing the season is about to begin. its a good interview with luke, we have respect sutton and work hard if we want to get something from the game.

Notts Countyβs Pre-Season: A Recap of the Squadβs Progress
this past pre season has been better in my opinion in terms of preparation than playing a bunch of local non league teams where the manager does really get the chance to see where potential problems are. the stoke city game shown how we needed to adjust against teams who are stronger and much better on the ball than us. nottingham forest gave us the chance to see how we could adapt and you could see that they were just starting out but we kept them closely marked. i do agree that each game as given luke williams things to think about, i think against teams in league two we should be more comfortable on the ball.
-
Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Us (A)
they still play like a national league team imo, but have adapted well to league two. i think they will be quite physical, i dont mean that in a dirty fouling type of way. i mean they will be strong on the ball and use their physicality to try to out strengthen us. i believe we have a good amount of quality, which should be able to perform well. we just need the chances to be taken and to be strong in defence. also, having macaulay langstaff up top would be nice.

Notts in the media spotlight
i cant wait, it will be good to see what he thinks notts might achieve along with the competition.
