  1. i am saddened to see him leave, i will remember his contributions and appreciate how he worked tirelessly towards helping us gain promotion. i think he has been a good player for us for the three seasons, its just a shame we could not have gotten a fee for him. then again we did get jodi jones who i actually think is the much better player. i wish ruben all the best at oxford, i hope they dont waste his talent but the doors always open for a return if that is the case.
  2. i think i remember him being linked with us when ah owned the club, i dont know much about him as a football. i dont think wiki says a lot of useful things, but if hes being watched by notts there is a reason. this could also be made up, who knows.
  3. its insane what has happened and i think it shows that anything can happen. we need to stay visual on our surroundings and look out for others, i find things like this to be very sad. a lot of gossip at work has mentioned it as being a terrorist attack? there not a lot of useful information out that you can read about the incident. to any nottingham based member, please be careful and take care. moments like this make you see how lucky we can be and how sad the world has become.
  4. i think he tweeted it to show us what we have with ruben going to his former team. these kind of videos are usually used when players are out of contract, well you see them sharing videos of footage of where they play well a lot of the time in those situations. jodi looks very good in the video tho.
  5. my workplace has finally managed to get the royal mail to move their parcels from our car park, so as of last thursday i could drive to work. i quite liked catching the bus, it was different so not all complaints. it is nice to be able to go straight home without waiting or having to put up with other people. as it is nice to be able to hear myself think, without loud music or shouting. work has actually been good this week too, my hours are becoming more routine and less over time. i have been doing overtime for at least since we returned to work from covid. so, its nice to have some more free time. i had been doing some gardening as i noticed the edges and bushes needed tidying. its been a bit too warm to do it for long but i enjoy it on saturday.
  6. i dont like him either, i thought he shown us up and reacted badly to some fans on twitter. i wish bury well though.
  7. very smart, its good to see the effort hes put in. some footballers dont bother.
  8. i think its interesting to say that he has tried to get to games, he must have gone in the executive area. interesting story.
  9. why has hardly anyone mentioned this? its a great story of triumph. it's a really good video, hope they do well. maybe we can adapt them?
  10. i think hes spoken well in his first interview back at the club, i did not realise he supported notts. i hope he does well and settles in well. i think he will do well instantly connecting with our existing squad. we need a chant just for him and one for + john bostock.
  11. i only saw jodi jones play in the playoff games and i thought he was ace, he looked way better than league two standard. i thought he would become a hot property in the championship and shoot from there, but its unfortunate that an injury derailed his career. hes found a club where he can re build. i think he could become a bigger legend at notts than at coventry. his help in the national league has helped this, he played a massive part in that.
  12. i have been gardening today, for the most part. just tidying things and cutting the bushes and hedge back. it looks a lot neater, not that everything was overgrown but it should stop some of the disapproving looks i notice. front garden is lethal with the way it catches the sun, the backgarden is very shaded, once i finished i just sat in the back garden with my phone browsing sites. it was that nice i thought about buying a hammock to put between two trees. tomorrow i am at my mums.
  13. he left us because he was not getting the game time, hes doing the same with boreham wood. he spoke about wanting football league football but seems he cant fight his way into squads. i think chesterfield or someone like that might express interest.
  14. i need to get the builders into my home now, i know what i need and i know what will make my life complete. automated everything! i need a smarter home in my life.
  15. @Fan of Big Tone that would ruin the club, thats basically 90% of the derek pavis stand. sorry! lol i dont think i would speak to them, i would be to nervous and i think i would not know what to say., i do think they have done an incredible job for us and i hope they just how thankful we are as supporters.
  16. good luck to him finding a new club, i think its highly unlikely he would return to notts.
  17. honestly i thought all would either end up in the non league or finding another line of work. we just dont seem to help our youths and they end up slipping through the cracks. luther wildin helped stevenage to promotion. he was one play i thought would go further and was pleased he got snapped up, i recall @Piethagoram liked him.
  18. welcome to the pon site, so many new members. i hope you find time to join in with us @Bigrossco1862.
  19. no, i dont have a signature and i am not sure i would use one but i do think it brightens posts up.
  20. i have prepared myself for if all leave, but i think we still have the chance of retaining 3 of them. i think they only way ruben stays here is if the money is a lot lower higher up than he thought. i think the rest will sign.
  21. i enjoyed reading this blog. it was interesting to see the different players that could potentially join notts in the transfer window. some of them are very exciting and would be great additions to the squad. however, i also felt that the blog was a bit lazy in including so many players that have already been linked to notts by other sources. it seemed like the author was just repeating what has already been said elsewhere, rather than doing some original research or analysis. i would have liked to see more creativity and insight from the blog, rather than just following the rumours.
  22. i am fully prepared for him to leave, but i do hope he stays. i think he can be replaced and probably with a more consistent player, but one that does not have that habit of showing pure magic like ruben does,
  23. avoid, we have taken back a home grown player a year older. we need to continue earthing the next players of the future, not people who will make us look like a retirement home again.
  24. jack was always the cream of the crop, i know some fans though callum mcgregor was the better player and had the most potenial but for that to be proven he would have had to been explosive for celtic or left them completely. both good players but they dont compare.
  25. idiot, i think the ban should be extended just due to the stupidity of his reason. its not, i am sorry, a rush of blood came to my head. i hold my hand up, i am sorry and i should not have done it. its i was bet to do, you have to take on bets between friends. i am no chicken but i am a fool.
