  1. hes just trying to push people into paying but twitter is not worth paying $8 a month. i think if it included multiple accounts for content creators, it might make a difference but to make the average user pay for something. good luck with that!
  2. i think boreham wood will be in a shout for promotion, i can see chesterfield doing well but oldham i cant see being in a title race myself.
  3. after he was sacked from forest green rovers, he kept coming back to notts. i thought the way he jumped ship with ian burchnall was more of an opportunist that the wwe wrestler edge. i dont know why fans worship him over the likes of jim o brien. i also dont know why i am surprised to see him go back to portsmouth. he probably tried coventry too, only to be told we are good thanks.
  4. bradford city, tranmere rovers and mk dons all have better chances than grimsby. at least in my opinion. i think stockport will be a little slower to pick up from last season but will do well. us and wrexham should be up there for sure.
  5. will this mean pon wont see new members join in and they will just go there? eion musk is turning twitter into a self harming website, everything he does is harming it. mark zuckerberg mean while is a shark waiting to have everyones information. i can see it making musk change his tone and stance on a few things.
  6. great gesture, something they did not have to do but have which is great,, i hope notts makes a donation to, instead of leaving it for us fans to donate.
  7. monday to friday i had work. i went to my mums after on tuesday, fetched some shopping for her. i need to remind myself to send a message to super. on the weekend i cant say much happened. i am glad you got to meet up with your friends @Megan_Elizax. did you go somewhere to eat or was it more causal?
  8. i recently watched it and i thought it was good to see how things panned out, peter's wife seems incredible and her support seemed to have helped him through his liverpool days where he struggled to get on the score sheet. harry redknapp and graham taylor both shown why they were good managers spotting peters potential. i think when you go into football, unfortunately you have to accept it for what it is. fans will poke fun of you, provided its not racist etc, you have to just get on with it. its a very good documentary. thanks for suggesting it @KB1862.
  9. i cant wait, either. i think the back of the promotion at wembley and the recruitment again has played a big part in why i am looking forward to the season. i generally do, even when we have had bad seasons and poor owners, with those antics thankfully seeming like a thing of the past. gareth jones comment about the reedtz rings home, i am very thankful for their leadership.
  10. average weekend, both saturday and sunday i went out bike riding. i cycled from beeston to wollaton hall on saturday. then to the embankment earlier, went past meadow lane and headed back. other than that i have just be resting.
  11. hello @BigTom91, please continue to join in. its always nice to fans sharing their opinion and especially when they are new. it shows everyones hard work is paying off.
  12. hello, @JackMagpie95. thank you for joining us and adding your comments. its nice to have you here.
  13. the score is unimportant, so i would like to just see the lads express themselves and treat the friendly for what it is. a good run out. naturally i hope they put on a good performance and if the sides are mixed, it should allow us to see which players do what. a very useful exercise for luke williams and the coaching team. i am interested who will start in rubens position.
  14. followed your blog @TheSkipper, i like the teasing of it to get people interested before you write. i think this will be great! 6 followers now, just 4 more needed.
  15. he sounds like a great signing that helped us fight against the bigger clubs, he may have moved on but what he achieved at notts is everlasting as his contributions to all the teams he played for. rest in peace, mick vinter.
  16. losing ruben was a blow but i think dan crowley or david mcgoldrick will be good replacements. the new signings give us a lot of depth.
  17. this is great news, we all know what aaron nemane brings to the squad and i think the new deal brings a lot of confidence. also, luke williams handling of this has been excellent.
  18. did eion musk buy twitter to kill it? he seems hell bent on ruining the platform more than trolls and nasty people do.
  19. i am glad hes signed a new deal, i do think @TheSkipper was right that luke williams knew the situation and it was either the case of giving him more time, allowing him to handle something or the club holding back the news. either way its great to have aaron nemane still here, so we only lost ruben. i am delighted that we are making to retain players, rather than more exiting for other clubs.
  20. jordan cranston i liked him and thought he would do well if given the chance. hes one of those players that had something but has never made the most of it.
  21. i think at the end of the day, these changes take away some of the parts which gives a keeper some advantage over the penalty taker, i think there is room to do this but without being over the top. a goalkeeper should be able to touch the net, crossbar and posts. i dont see how this would greatly effect a penalty taker, i am sure it can be distracting but its not as controversial as walking up to the taker or slowly going into goal, then trying to buy some time in delaying it. if the keepers are having limitation applied, i would like to see more stricter rules on penalty takers. you arent supposed to be able to stop when taking the ball, yet some do when they slow do. this should not be allowed under the new rules. when notts played chesterfield, their first penalty taker acted like he was going somewhere else, then turned around and ran to the ball. this should not be allowed as it delays the keeper. basically, i just want to see a fair system for keeper and penalty taker. both of which should have some liberty with their decision before a pen is taken. if one cant, neither should the other.
  22. the daggers will get the best out of frank vincent, its a good signing for them and will give them a player who can hold the ball without physically having to steamroll the opponent.
  23. this... i think luke williams knew all along, i wonder if he just gave aaron nemane a little more time to himself or for whatever reason. also, curious if the club held back the news like they did with kyle cameron. i dont know, i am just pleased hes signed a new deal with us. its a very good, detailed interview that focuses on some aspects we might not normally read or hear about.
  24. matt palmer is brilliant, he works every part of the pitch and puts so much more effort into his performances. the graphic shows just how important he is to our squad, he's someone we cant drop.
  25. man united turns everything into a big deal, de gea is not as good as people say. they should have got rid of him years ago, oddly when united were poor. he was one of the best things about them but they dont sell players who want out. they hold onto them for whatever reason.
