  1. my dad does and he lives alone, one day i will take it and claim it as mine. then when he comes over, i will say thats my seat. i dont have one just for myself, i find it funny but i get why some do. location in the room and comfort.
  2. its hard to see how things change over the years, new shops crop up but nothing is quite the same. from the video, i don't remember many of the shops mentioned its all before my time.
  3. i have pretty much all I want to add on show, but it is fun and nice to see what members profiles say. i do encourage everyone to follow people though, its always nice to connect with fans.
  4. it all reads very promising and i hope that he enjoys playing for notts when he gets the chance. i hope either he or brooks will start certain cup games as that could be a great way to see how they do.
  5. he sounds like a very promising keeper, 23 is a good age and whilst i do feel sorry for tiernan brooks i hope he uses this signing as a means to push himself. in a few years, he could be our first choice or it could be aidan stone. pleased we have depth though.
  6. its a good thing that he know john bostock, hopefully he will know other players and our style of play should continue to attract players who want to perform football the right way. no hoofing it 90% of the time or performing unconvincingly. what he says really does show that notts has transformed in the 4 years we have been owned by the reedtz. everyone at the club has done a magnificent job and i hope it continues to pay off.
  7. its a decent set of opening fixtures, its not too hard on paper and gives notts some chance to build momentum. if we start off brightly, notts could really push forward but after being in the national league and with this squad, i dont think we should fear any team.
  8. its a good tie, it will be nice to take them on and see how we compare against them. as a team we have had a bit of rivalry with, so i am happy.
  9. is this because of your cars type? its new to me but i went by coach.
  10. promising, i do think if we get off to a good start that notts can really push for a top 3 finish. the squad we are putting together looks good enough, fixtures are promising. with the right results, who knows?
  11. hello, @NottsLoyal. its nice to be welcoming you to pon.
  12. i agree, that scott is the player with the highest potential. when comes to 2nd or 3rd option but i think he will get game time from off the bench and maybe when the former changes. i don't see how morias fits in despite his talent.
  13. the write up of the interview is great, it reads very well and captions some brilliant responses.
  14. dan crowley is my choice, i think hes going to be class but all are great signings. i just feel like crowley will be the player that pulls a lot of our stringers and will excite us with his advanced position.
  15. Favourite Football Kit? 2011/12 for me. Best ground you've been to? wembley chestefields otherwise Favourite player growing up? richard butcher possibly Who is your GOAT? ronaldo Favourite Football Video Game? fifa Favourite Football-based Movie? bend it like beckham Favourite Football Documentary? sunderland til i die First football match? i forget i think it was 2004 or 06 If you could watch just 1 football match for the rest of your life what would it be? us beating chesterfield at wembley Football never existed, what's your go to alternative? not sure You can change 1 decision in football history, what would it be? jimmy leaving the first time he left notts, i would talk him into staying.
  16. pace is needed in defence, i think we may have to replace aaron nemane. i think we could do with another proper left wing back. if we do go to get a new wing back, i would hope we sign someone more defensive minded and able to cross the ball, maybe they wont be as good as adam chicksen going forward but it would be a plus if they were better than him defensively.
  17. i would add a few books, like the history of notts county football club. include photos of tommy lawton, jackie sewell, mark stallard, tommy johnson, macaulay langstaff, colin slater, jack wheeler, jimmy sirrel, derek pavis. a bit of the pitch too.
  18. with the cost of living, i dont think its 'feasible' to pay my council tax. it is way to late now, it makes little sense to do it but i still think nottingham city council are a joke and biased. they seem to go out of their way to be awkward and uninterested in notts. like how they made it difficult to park around meadow lane without paying. they are only bothered about forest.
  19. very good news story just posted by @PON_News.
  20. everything about him sounds very promising, i think when you label a player sometimes that just hinders them and makes it harder for them to establish their own abilities. dan crowley looks to be a great signing. hes someone younger fans can look up to as well.
  21. i hope you both have a lovely time, did you get any presents or do you pass on them?
  22. @menzinho i think we should have faith in the master, i think we are going for depth and i do think this gives us the option to try mcgoldrick or crowley in rubens old role. austin may be pushed out wide, but its great to see how strong all these players are on paper.
  23. well done @Fan of Big Tone i am determined to start picking up points myself.
  24. very enjoyable read of our days in the national league, it was a good summary of the ups and downs. i think we grew and handled most setbacks well. whilst improving on the signing front. our first season we did not have the time to spend long in the recruitment department, signs had to be made and whilst they did have time to train we have grown from this point. i also share the same sentiments that winning the playoffs felt better than winning the league. that said, i would like to avoid going behind in two games only to win and going up as champions once again would be nice. though i would happily re do wembley all over again.
  25. i dont understand either, i think bournemouth have made a mistake and as for sheffield wednesday they may undo all the good that moore has done for the club. they are no longer a strong championship team and they need real guidance to stay up.
