the goal they scored should take away much, we controlled the game for over 90+ minutes, last season we would have seen it finish at 94 minutes and the switching off just reflects on the players feeling that it was almost over. we should keep the focus, i feel bad for aidan stone as he deserved a clean sheet but the goal does not take anything away from the game. for the most part of the second half, notts could have scored goals for fun. ruling out chicksens goal sort of made a difference.

good match day vlog, something most fans will appreciate and watch to capture a bit of how this past game felt. it was impressive and our fans made doncasters ground theirs for the game. you would never have known we were the away team. doncaster never bothered to try. both their team and fans are poor.

spot on @Chris, we are starting to look like the team we know and the first half was us feeling them out and just pushing to make that break through. the goal did open the game up and shows that we can defend well, its just a shame we switched off at the end but it happens. i dont think we should dwell on it. as for the referee, i swear he was wearing red too.

it was a good team performance, doncaster very disappointing but their fans are worse than the team. no support, no effort from them and it's a two way street. fans these days just dont see the put of encouragement, they would rather make everything miserable. thankfully, our lot were excellent. i love away days!

decent start by notts, mcgoldrick shot wide but doncaster look quite poor on the ball. we need to use the wider areas more.

hes a good guy, some players forget about teams they played for and how the fans were with them. its good that jon bostock shows his respect and i would not expect anything less from him.

you can see all the effort going in, yes its not the start we wanted or predicted but it could be worse. tomorrow with our support, we could make the game strangely feel like another home game. 2.5k of our fans could really make a positive sound and i have been impressed at each away game myself. fans are clearly putting in effort to. we need to put a positive step forward by firstly putting in a good performance with chances on goal, with the amount of our fans in attendance we need to make them feel excited. yet finally we need to kick start the season. doncaster despite it most likely being a tough game, could be a great chance to pick up 3 points.

i know sometimes we will start of shaky even with a decent squad, i think much of the disappoint with the start comes from the expectations of us going strong again after our promotion last season but we need to continue with the amazing support we have seen in games. john bostock is right about what he says, we can still finish strong, lets be patient and try to give our all so that we might be able to encourage notts to achieve our hopes.

i do think we are starting to find out feet, the focus on high possession is a good thing because when the focus levels increase and the players fully settle into the season. we should be able to create more clear cut chances. i think we have a good chance to get a good result tomorrow, we just have to make sure that any errors dont punish us.

i think we could win either 0-1 or 0-2 depending on how many chances we create. i hope the games open but in a way where notts can hold onto the ball more than doncaster, i dont think there is any room for mistakes which cant be redeemed. i am very much looking forward to making this game.

i think even the club promoted the courses, i seem to remember a video where hes interviewed and talks about the courses. if he did not get the assistant job at anderlecht he could have resorted to this again.

@KB1862 have a good time, hope the weather is nice for you. today i am finishing up work as per usual, i need to go to morrisons for my mum when i finish. then i will be staying at my mums until tomorrow. it makes things easier to pick up @CliftonMagpie. saturday i am off to doncaster for my first visit there. so far, i have made all the away games which is a first for me too. i am looking forward to seeing notts play in a modern stadium is not that far from nottingham. i hear the area is quite nice, so that will be something to check out before the game. sunday, i will be going to see my uncle and aunt.

i love this @magpiejue and @Chris. the rich history of julies family supporting the club, it does run a lot in families and it makes reading stories like this. i feel over the years, julie has been a great support and she is one of the people i look up to from notts. i dont think we have ever met in person but i feel i know her well. her mother has been coming to notts games for aslong as i can remember, the fact she still goes is amazing.

i meant more based on the chances we had, if we had played badly.

i think its a good chance to get 3 more points on the table, doncaster are struggling right now and its the right point to play them. their first two games they played quite poorly, i was not impressed with what i saw but in their last match they did show a lot more character. well i will be driving down with @TheSkipper and @CliftonMagpie. i also know @Chris, @Callum234 and @super_pie are also going.

absolutely this needs to happen, i fully agree and support the decision because it just causes trouble on the pitch. sometimes just the gesture alone is enough to influence the referee into giving a card when its not warranted. it annoys me too.

is the german cup their version of the fa or league cup? i dont know a great deal about german football but the few games i have seen, its quite entertaining.

i wished notts were still on the digital channel, because i could listen to the game and watch it. i cant seem to get the fm channel on my phone.

i was at the game itself. having seen the highlights though, i can see why @Fan of Big Tone said in the match discussion that david mcgoldrick should have scored when aaron nemane put the ball across to him.

this is excellent @TheSkipper, i agree with your thoughts on the game. each player does have a role to play and i think we do need to see more movement, we tend to be a little relaxed but i hope luke williams does say the players try to lose your mark etc.
