  1. the club does feel much more professional under the reedtz ownership, both brothers have put a lot of effort into giving the club a solid base to build on. all the signings have been pretty much spot on, the loan area for keepers could be better but that is probably down to what options are out there.
  2. i think it should be a good game, i would hope dorking bring the game to notts. i can see them having to do more running, so if we are smart we might tire them out. i think we are much stronger than when we last played them. we cant write them off but provided we create good chances, i can see us winning.
  3. after his debut, i hope we start to give him time to develop in our first team. im sure he can cover whilst slocombe is out, people say its a big risk but i think if wrexham becomes out of reach we should start giving him more time.
  4. Birmingham City 3-1 Rotherham United Sheffield United 2-2 Luton Town Barnsley 0-1 Plymouth Argyle Bolton Wanderers 0-3 Ipswich Town joker Barrow 0-0 Sutton United Doncaster Rovers 1-0 AFC Wimbledon Eastleigh 2-1 Oldham Athletic Torquay United 3-1 Wealdstone
  5. its a good listen, i wished the bbc and notts would do more stuff like this. its something that i can only say ah did well, he did know how to get the medias interest even if sometimes it was with his unmentionables.
  6. langstaff for me has been the biggest standout player, its been years since we have had someone so naturally gifted on goal. a player that has consistently scored whilst earning praise from the leagues above. he has a lot more potential about him, but i think his influence on the pitch and on goal is something worthy of noting. we are lucky to have a whole squad of very good players, all of which have done well during this season.
  7. dagenham, southend, oldham, notts, barnet, yeovil and torquay are all games wrexham cant take for granted. we do not have it easy ourselves but i think on paper its tougher for wrexham.
  8. thanks ds, i know i have missed many rounds but i am hoping to get a bit further up the table.
  9. i think if luke williams puts faith into brooks it will pay off, there is no point looking for another keeper when the lad from norwich cant even get into the first team. that loan is pretty redundant in my opinion. i think williams made a mistake by mentioning that the club are looking at other keepers, just praise brooks and leave it at that.
  10. it shows now @CliftonMagpie. former striker converted by bromley to play as a defender, its interesting to see how players positions change. i think i remember him from his time at yeovil.
  11. swift movement by langstaff, but the pass through is just something special.
  12. i dont think hes good enough for this level but that does not mean i hate or unappreciate that he gives 100%. he should be doing much better with his opportunity at eastleigh in my opinion, their fans dont really rate him either. i have read comments by their fans before he got sent off that claimed he had an attitude. i thought the loan move would give him a chance to prove himself.
  13. @JoeNcfc once you become used to pon, you will enjoy it as much as the facebook group. we're a lot more friendlier here, as its more talking than trying to single mistakes out. i am glad you joined.
  14. i know some fans will feel frustrated but a point is better than nothing, langstaff salvaged our title race with it. bromley seem to know what makes us work, maybe today was that and a bit of pressure but i hope we do come back stronger. it sounded quite painful to watch at times, with nothing to much happening and i took away from the game that they can consider themselves unlucky not to have beaten us.
  15. langstaffs goal was very carefully placed, but the ball through by rodrigues was equally nice.
  16. i bet their fans wont be that impressed despite the win.
  17. it came to me as a surprise when i read the notts status about it. but when you think hes played only 13 times? and other factors it does. i still think he can be a very good player and i hope he does well there, as if he does he could prove that he is still worth his place in the notts squad. best of luck, ed.
  18. i am partly surprised but then i did not realise how few games ed had played this season. i know people say hes too lightweight but i think there is a lot of promise there. with bostock its going to be hard to get in and we now have vincent wanting games too. so i should not be that surprised.
  19. 3 wins in their last 5 games, they seemed to dip a little before their win against torquay. they seem a side that can hold out for a draw but i am not really sure what i expect. i think with the run of games we have had, fatigue will be a concern but i believe williams will set us up to win. unlike ardley or burchnall, we are going for more than just a point so it should be an interesting game. with our fans selling out the away end i hope they can bring a lot of energy too.
  20. Millwall 2-2 Norwich City Rotherham United 0-3 QPR Lincoln City 1-0 Oxford United Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 Exeter City Harrogate Town 0-0 Gillingham Walsall 2-1 Barrow Oldham Athletic 3-1 Boreham Wood jkr Wealdstone 0-0 Altrincham
  21. slocombe chicksen rodrigues palmer langstaff i have gone for a goal machine with palmer being the only player i decided to select that probably would not get many. his passing and control would help to keep the ball.
  22. i am curious what five a side squad you would end up with from the following options. please give some details as to who you chose at the end of your selections. slocombe or brooks? cameron or chicksen? nemane or rodrigues? jones or palmer? langstaff or scott?
  23. i have 110% faith in luke williams and this notts squad. notts needs to put saturday as far out of mind as possible, go focus, work hard and i am sure the points will come back with us. there has been a lot of hard work going into games, it cant be undone with one or two defeats in a whole season.
  24. we appreciate the effort you are putting in @Chris, dont over do yourself.
  25. what is your favourite pass time? i like reading up about emerging and changing technology, i also find it fascinating to go back to old programmes that spoke about the future and compare just how far things have come since then.
