kewell will probably see what needs to be done, i hope he can do well for notts but i do feel the decision to appoint him is poor, however much notts have paid for his services, it should have gone towards the playing squad and defence in january or used to get some good free agents. i can see notts continuing to lose because on the service not much has changed. 2-0 defeat is my prediction.

it will be a strange game and i wonder what the attendance will be like. i think with nolan gone and with notts sitting bottom of the league people wont bother to turn up but the club needs the support. the manager and players are temporary but the support is a lifetime or should be. i hate to sound negative but i dont see a win, a draw at best.

it sounded like notts allowed newport to play and win, from what i heard early on the play was in favour of notts until they scored. it annoys me how easy we concede, people who dont see that this has to change makes me question their logic. i am not talking about fans, people are saying if we had scored a second how things would be different and maybe so but that dont change the fact we are a sucker punch team. score, concede, concede, score, concede!!

keep the faith it will be turned around. hewitt needs more support (from the players) and reminding that he cant just run with the ball or pass it. he should keep things simple, thats what he does best.

i think it will be a difficult game if the support is not vocal that will only add to it, the notts followers should be behind the team. the encourage i do feel could make the difference, i am starting to get nervous tho and i worry about newport scoring first. im not sure notts could bounce back from conceding first just yet.

notts lack the fight needed to win games at the moment. i think there is enough creativity and power up front but the defence looks absolutely ****. there is no other word for it.

confidence should be high after doing well against middleborough, it must show the squad that they can play well and compete. i just feel the defence needs to be more responsible, even kn has mentioned this.
