  1. notts has to do better than we did against doncaster, we were running low on ideas or ways to attack them and i know its early days but its crucial to building a strong start that we maximise the points we can take. i do think it was a good draw, but at the same time i felt we dropped 2 points. huddersfied might be different, they might be stronger but i want to see our players show no fear. i am a little concerned by how easily we give players space at times, our defence looks good but those lapses are when teams punish us. martin paterson needs to make sure we get the right intensity from the starting lineup, with options to influence the game well from off the bench when subs are needed.
  2. tough debut to come on at a difficult spell and be asked to chase everything with limited service, i think he needs match time and i dont think we can judge him without seeing a run of games but his finishing looks to be quality. i am excited about the signing, it takes pressure off the injured strikers.
  3. i got the email and played, i like it. its difficult to think of players off the top of your head, but once going the challenge is fun. i did not use the hint but i think it would be best to not allow its use early on. does the share encourage people to post their score onto social media? i hope more members have a laugh and go, because it is a fun idea and it would be a shame to not see it supported. more people should be able to play it with it being notts related and not just a random word.
  4. well to be fair, the trews and mr x-rated tweet both made some improvements off the pitch, but nothing to the scale of the reedtz. i think we have them to thank for being back in league one, and having a club that is always looking to improve. the statements by the board are always standard but reassuring, some neat updates and the communication is there from them which is nice.
  5. i think its quite smart but i do agree, i would have loved something more notts but the club are in the business to sell shirts. the juve connection will, not only amongst our local and uk support but international too. the brazil followers i think might even like the away kit. its not the worst, so cant complain.
  6. i got the email about pondle and gave it a go. its a fun and challenging take on wordle, you really need to know your players and i hope to see more people taking part in it. i have not long been back from work, average day where i would sound the same so not much to report there. https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/pondle/
  7. PONdle #3 — 4/6 — 7 letters ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛🟨⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛🟩🟩🟩 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Play PONdle i love this, its challenging but fun.
  8. its awful, just makes the world a worse place, i only joined to facebook to help chris and pon, it does my head in. i joined x before here, but even that is just toxic. i dont know why our fans have to fight and complain so much. i miss this place and you will see me around more, just finding more time to do things whilst i am younger that i might not get to do later in life. it helps as there is more to life than work.
  9. ollie cooper, such a brilliant player that gives his all and has a lot of quality about him. lucas ness and cal roberts was brilliant, james belshaw made a couple of important top saves too.
  10. i seem to recall @Piethagoram mentioning him, and as others have said he was their best player at wembley. i just hope he can improve with us and help us get the points needed to move forward. we need to give him time before comparing to his time at salford, we have a much stronger squad.
  11. i agree with chris, the absence just makes it feel like he could have left with all our blessings if things had gone better. i think we know hes a good player, but hes not always the best. i wished we could have kept him but if the money bromley paid were good then it does make sense. he came for free, and we are ambitious. jodi also seems to thrive as a clubs star player, something which in truth was decreasing here. on his day hes a world beater and bromley should be better with him, i do wish him well and i am thankful for the memories.
  12. its good to have cal roberts back, he has the quality to do well and i dont worry so much having seen him play for us about his injury past. the club has done well to protect those with serious injuries, and even though all players get them we know what we are getting with cal. just look at his performance against luton town for example.
  13. the good start we have made needs to continue, i know people will be hoping for a win but i would take a draw if we cant outplay doncaster. they might fancy their chances with the injuries we have and i know how dirty they can be. it would be good to avoid any set backs with that regard and at least come away with a point. i think we could win but having played saturday, and knowing how donny can be i still dont think a draw would be bad at this stage. remain undefeated, allow the confidence to build.
