Notts County vs Crawley Town

Featured Replies

Unless I am being forgetful (which could be the case), these officials are new for us. I will try to do the match official feature for 'em but with time restraints and being busy I haven't had the time to do all of what I'd like.

We need a win here, I think anything less will confirm our status for next season.

A draw would leave a slim chance but surely it would be the end of the fight, it leaves the decision of Oldham. It would be very hard going not knowing the outcome, something which I am unsure about. We can beat Crawley, they're not a special side and have been struggling themselves. I will say a Notts win at 2-1, yet I hope we can keep a clean sheet.

Stat Attack for the Crawley match is up on the site!

I daren't predict just what the outcome will be for this game... too nervous. If I was a neutral I would call it a draw, but that would be no good for us. I pray to the footballing deities that we can register a win!

I do find it quite unfair that we're still charging Crawley fans the full ticket prices. I fail to see why they should pay more just because they're visiting supporters.

Very nervous about this game already. Anything less than 3 points and it's well and truly game over. COYP!

Very nervous for this, almost don't want to go haha, I think we've got a chance of grinding out a win though.

I know what you mean, Its just a shame we've left it until to get our acts together. Had we have beaten some of these poor teams, Carlisle, Tranmere, Walsall... It would be somewhat more relaxed. No point dwelling, I will be cheering. COYPs

We need 3 points, that is for certain. Anything less could be catastrophic, if Tranmere and one of Crewe/Colch grab all the points.

Our destiny is not in our hands, that is the problem. We have to get 7 points from 3 games now IMO, to be sure, 6 may be enough.

As always, I remain optimistic - but Monday's results are pivotal to our season. As long as we are not cast adrift, I will be confident of 4 points from the last. 2 games.

This has to be one of the most daunting games we've faced. Like everyone else, We're more nervous than anything else.

Can you imagine the euphoria or the dissapointment come 5:00pm/12:00pm.

So far so good, 1-0 at half time and other results going our way up to now. Keep it up Notts. Great atmosphere at the lane.

Yeah good atmosphere but not the best games, quite poor but hey ho we're winning.

We need to defend like lions from here on.

we should all be happy ;)

Next week, is just as important and what a game it looms to be.

We could seal our Status next season if we win (Almost) and we could also prevent Swindon from getting in the playoffs.

Bloody Massive Massive Game

Wow, what a game, my nerves are shattered. We certainly rode our luck and Bart made some great saves to make up for last week. JCR was immense in attack and tracking back into the right back position.

It's still going to be a massive effort to keep up but with the teams around us faltering today we have given ourselves a chance.

Has anyone got any mails left?

That was a tiring afternoon for the fans, never mind the players! I feel like I've been through the ringer! Great performances by Hollis, Bart and JCR (again! Got to be man of season)

Good crowd and tense atmosphere. You would have thought the whole ground held its breath for 90 (93 to be fair) minutes!!!

Credit where it is due, we held on and now we move to next Saturday. If today was pressure I cant imagine what next weekend will be like!!!

Incredible stuff! Terrific & valuable win against stubborn, well organised opposition.

Bart was magnificent, despite spilling the ball and helping to create the major goalmouth scramble,. Two of his saves were workd class again & his blocks were vital.

Given the other results today we could well be safe with 4 more points now. It is going down to the wire, that us now for certain.

we on but the match was boring. the best players for us were Bart and Liddle (as per)....we were robbed of 2 penalties and their team should have had numerous sendings off, bunch of dirty gits!! I was glad for the win, but disappointed with the game itself. Also, I thought that the fans that attended seemed very very quiet today!

The game was always destined to be difficult, as is the next two! So much pressure will bear the brunt of the performance. Penalties...We don't seem to have much luck there do we? I thought the crowd kept behind the team well considering the tense feeling around the whole ground today. Credit for that many turning up and credit for not leaving before he blew finally!
