We're now two games into the 5 games I wrote about - View of our upcoming games. This is one I have low expectations and I think even lower after our performance against Crawley, It's important we use the home advantage and at least try. Bradford aren't doing as well at the moment, however they've got a talented bunch of lads.

Well's will no doubt be one of their dangermen - He's the type of forward I think many of our fans wished we had. Yet, they don't lack creativity and their midfield is perhaps the strongest aspects of their team.

Notts will need to keep the ball down, play patiently but more direct. I don't want to watch us create space, just to spread the ball out wide and waste it. I hope we go through the centre and aim to control the tempo, we need to run at them and use overlapping techniques to gain the extra advantage but of course the home crowd will be our biggest weapon.

I'm sure Shaun knows exactly how to stop Bradford from playing, I have every faith that he can rekindle the fight. We can't afford 3 defeats in a row, I'm concerned a lack of performance will show us the players think we're down already. We need that fighting spirit, that 'never say never' attitude.

Thoughts?

3-1 notts win! two late goals.

we can do this! i really dont like bradford, they have been pretty lucky in my opinion. i dont see them as a top league one team, i felt they would be struggling and finding it hard to keep their 3 young players. wells is far to good for them!

That's the spirit mate! Hopefully we can get something but I feel unless they rise to the game, I think Bradford will dominate play. I think it's going to be 2-1 myself, not in our favour but I will be in the kop and trying to give my backing as always.

We need to snap out of this and create chances, give our strikers some decent service.

The major disappointment that was the crawley away day is slipping into the usual Notts Abyss now. Amazing how a couple of days and the defeat is moved to the back of the mind ready for the next match. On to tomorrows match. I think after the good kicking that we all assume they got from Derry, they ought to be better equipped for this. I agree with Liampie, that Bradford are a lucky side. Problem is we are an unlucky side. Not a great combination.

I'll go for a 2-2 draw on this one I think.

I think it will be a very narrow game, I hope for a surprise but I think it's likely to be a very hard game. Notts need to challenge them, if we can get the ball and use it quickly maybe just maybe! I think Grealish needs to learn to not allow players to get at him, he seems to suffer from this from the highlights I have seen. McGregor could be the huge difference tomorrow!

Sadly I cannot make it to Meadow Lane, have a good one those who do.

1-1 for me.

Heartache by the number, troubles by the score.....

I guess that says it all, 2-0 Bradford City win for me. I honestly do not see us being able to buy a win at the moment.

Problem is we are an unlucky side.

lol!

If I were Notts mgmt, I'd make this game a line in the sand:

  1. We need at least a point from every game from now on and it starts with the next game.

I'd tell the players that this is where the rot stops, stand up and be counted or get the **** out of the club/replaced by reservists.

No matter how good the players are, if we stand together as a resolute team, we will avoid the drop.

I think we are an "unlucky side" (:(), but we can't do much about that, if we lose a game, we go right back to point 1.

UPIES!

I'm personally not feeling overly confident about tomorrows game.

One positive is Nakhi Wells may not make their 11 through injury according to the BBC, unfortunately i still don't think that may be enough though unless we get off to a good start - an early goal would help.

It can't be much worse than the Crawley performance anyway!

Hehe... Don't worry, sometimes it takes a little time to update after posting. It's a silly thing called Ajax and it's aimed at helping to avoid refreshing the page, if you ever post from a mobile it can be quite amusing. Best to wait for the browser to kick in ;)

I'm hoping we can keep up the lead and not let them score a goal... not long left now :)

Can't wait to hear what people say about this game. I couldn't listen today.

The result though speaks volumes, with the likes of Sheehan & Lidds out.

Come on You Pies (Lets keep our 2014 unbeaten run going ;) )

Brilliant performance by Notts, we shown more direction and battled for the ball. I would have made changes to aid Enoch but Derry knew we could do something.

McGregor and Grealish, great play.

Bradford did alright, not enough but should be content.

Great result and as the game wore on a better performance. A little concerned that in the first half an hour we were destined to leave Enoch on his own all game, but he played a really good team game today. He looked like a handful up front and I lost count how many times he dominated in defence! Some great clearances etc from corners.

( If you've not guessed it yet I'm an Enoch fan!)

Much better result, but it did flatter us slightly.

All in all a well earned three points with a good break now to organise themselves from the off.

i did know where the opener was going to come from, i thought that bradford would progress to the point of leading the game. jrc did very well, he put a shift in but its annoying how many of our own fans shout stupid comments. hes crossing did stray but his effort was good! the two late goals just helped me to settle because i could see them getting back into it.

did we make a change? i did not see us make a sub.

well done notts!

A very good team performance, especially from Manny Smith and the keeper. Notts look devastating on the break with Enoch occupying the centre-halves and the two kids and JCR terrorising defences. But, 3-0 flattered us as they probably had more shots on target than us. I'm not convinced by Fotheringham (lacks mobility), or either of the full backs. How about these for marks out of ten to get people talking.

Bialkowski - 9

Dumbuya - 7

Fox - 7

Smith - 9

Leacock - 8

Fotheringham - 6

Boucaud - 7

JCR - 9

Grealish - 8 (7 for first half, 9 for second)

McGregor - 8

Showunmi - 8

Coaching staff for NOT making unnecessary substitutions - 9

I still would have introduced some fresh legs towards the 80th mark, if not slightly sooner @ivansneck. Bradford looked very keen and capable at scoring, even if the close calls was scrappy. I felt replacing Fotheringham would have helped us a little more, it could have been different if not for the first break away - McGregor nearly let it go from him.

Bialkowski - 9

Dumbuya - 7

Fox - 6.5

Smith - 7

Leacock - 6.5

Fotheringham - 4

Boucaud - 6

JCR - 7

Grealish - 9
McGregor - 9

Showunmi - 7

Here's my rating - Felt Enoch needed much more support but did well.

Thanks for the notes @fans who were there today, much appreciated here.

Is it just me though, or does writing ratings with a hyphen look like minus points? Maybe I'm just too attuned to reading @Mad!
