What is your favourite TV Comedy series?

I'll start you off with mine.

There are so many to choose from but my favourite is "The Goodies", slapstick at its best, utterly silly and ridiculous that you could never stop laughing.

Here's a flavour.

Crikey, talk about naming the impossible! As a kid I would probably agree with you @Robbie, Goodies was probably the TV program I never missed.
I would probably have to say Allo Allo (the 1980’s ones) is my all time favourite though, brilliant writing and acting and constant laugh out loud moments. Running it a close second would be Fawlty Towers.
I don’t think any of the shows mentioned so far would get made today, people are way too sensitive to allow anything that pokes fun at others to be shown.

Only Fools and Horses

The League of Gentlemen

Fawlty Towers

Friday Night Dinners

To name a few.

@Fan of Big Tone This is a local topic, for local people. Are you local? ????

If we are talking sketch shows: Harry Enfield, but also this guy. ????

Otherwise, Monty Python would certainly be up their in terms of group comedy.
