So @Robbie the Strong Rumor I wrote about was TRUE. That's why Josh Martin was signed at least till January. This is Going to be one Hell of a Loss for Notts and will have a Huge Impact on the Magpies Push For Promotion. Not only will this test the Squad's Resolve, but will also Test Stuart Maynard and his Staff and we Fans will get to see how far he's come as a Coach. I Think he'll Manage Ok, looking at the way things are Now, I think there maybe more Loan Players coming in.

Martin was brought in to play as a winger or as a central striker in case of an absence through injury. Jodi is expected to be out until the beginning of January, NOT the whole season.

It's time to be positive, NOT negative. We have enough quality players to continue the promotion challenge. Players who were injured are also on their way back.

Stuart is not under any pressure. This time last season, Williams Notts team had let in double the number of goals that Stuart's team has conceded at the same stage this season.

So Notts have improved under Stuart, & the squad is much stronger too.

kellan gordon was allegedly rested due to having played in the efl cup game and said to have been rested for carlisle. if he is injured again, it would be disappointing as he looked good from the minutes he has been given.

jatta might return to the bench tomorrow, he has been trying and before the morecambe on the radio it said that he was now training properly, not just on the grass with no heading involvement.

Good idea to have this, I'm always losing track of who is and isn't it fit.

As for signing additional players for cover under the new rules we can't sign anyone on loan now, that has to be done in the window. You used to be able to as it was classed as an emergency loan. Essentially we can now only bring in free-agent/unregistered players.

I'm hoping we don't pick up any more major injuries, knocks and strains are always going to happen and I'm sure Grant and McGoldrick will be back pretty soon.

David McGoldrick said he would be back for Chesterfield yesterday after the game. Conor Grant, he doesn't think he will be out for the six weeks we've been told. Lucas Ness is likely to be longer than a few weeks. :(

I didn't see Jodi Jones or Curtis Edwards yesterday. I was told JJ wasn't at the game, but I can't confirm it.

From what I can recall Lucas Ness had surgery on his ankle when he was still at Charlton, but I've no idea when this actually was. Guessing we're just waiting until he gets the OK from the doctor.

Good that McGoldrick will be back in contention for Chesterfield though.

Lucas Ness has a nasty scar just above his left ankle. He walked past me after the game against Port Vale. It looked like it had been stapled at one point. Very nasty-looking scar. I hope nothing serious is wrong with Cedwyn Scott.

It’s a good idea to keep track of injuries. I wish Notts would provide a bit more information when they can. Some teams are very prompt with injury updates, and sometimes we are too. Obviously, with long-term injuries, there’s not much to say, but a monthly update could go a long way.

Not one proper defender on that list... Quite unbelievable really, it's like the universe doesn't want us to be a fun attacking team! 😩

@menzinhoJust clearly demonstrates that Stuart Maynard's concerns are truely justified, when he calls for more protection for his players.

I'm hoping that we will get some good news on the injury front from Stuart when he faces the press pre Doncaster.

I'm expecting that McGoldrick, Crowley & Austin will be available for Doncaster,  but we will have to see.

What do PON members feel about Notts keeping mum regarding the state of the ongoing injuries?

Should the club keep the fans in the know or are they right to keep their opponents guessing, which means keeping the fans guessing too?
