Notts injury watch.

Featured Replies

Arguably 4/5 that are injured would be in our starting 11. I also think we are missing Edwards and Grant more than we realise.

And to answer your previous question, I’m more than happy if we don’t reveal our minor injuries. Long-term stuff is pretty obvious but I don’t need a list of who is and isn’t fit before a match.

Some teams will focus more on us then themselves when they prepare for a game against us. For example, a team could spend time in training where they focus on ways to cope with Crowley and Didzy. Then it gets to the game, neither are playing, we change things up so they have to adapt in game. That might turn out to be an advantage for us, football is all about those marginal gains!

So @Robbie the Strong Rumor I wrote about was TRUE. That's why Josh Martin was signed at least till January. This is Going to be one Hell of a Loss for Notts and will have a Huge Impact on the Magpies

  • kellan gordon was allegedly rested due to having played in the efl cup game and said to have been rested for carlisle. if he is injured again, it would be disappointing as he looked good from the minu

  • Good idea to have this, I'm always losing track of who is and isn't it fit. As for signing additional players for cover under the new rules we can't sign anyone on loan now, that has to be done i

Gordon was absent from the squad on the weekend, Cisse got the nod as one of the back-up wingbacks. And I noticed Cedwyn Scott was missing too surely he'd have been involved as, defensive options aside, the bench for Salford was pretty weak. It would be strange decision to just leave him out if he's not injured.

What has happened to Robertson? I know it was chest muscle injury a few months ago but then he came back in December. It's a strange almost non-football injury, I wonder if it has just not healed properly. Be very unlucky if he's picked up a new injury otherwise.

Feels like we're going to have to all chip in and get a private investigator to locate Gordon and Scott at the moment... ????️‍♂️????????

Bad news for Notts fans. Two of our best players out for the season.

I was so looking forward to a Palmer-Robertson pairing this season, just not going to happen is it... Got to make sure we keep Abbott until the end of the season now. I think with Hinchy and Edwards back we should be ok in midfield but if we add another I won’t argue. I think another CB is more of a priority, Cundy playing for a number of games would worry me. Shame for Ness but that’s some hamstring tear if it’s keeping him out until May!

Positive news about Lewis Macari that he may only be out for 6 to 8 weeks instead of the rest of the season.

It's great that Edwards is in contention for Saturday's match.

I'm still amazed that considering Jodi has only started 10 matches this season (and played 13 in total) he's still our 3rd top scorer and joint 2nd for assists!

Luckily I don't think Bedeau's injury is too serious and I'm hoping McDonald just felt a bit off tightness and came off so not to make it worse.

its a bit of a concern when we have so many out during a key stage but i hope we can manage. david mcgoldrick is a big miss, i am pleased jodi jones is not serious. we could do with scott robertson, but hes out pretty much for the rest of the season and i think we do miss lewis macari.
