Notts County vs MK Dons

Featured Replies

Notts started off really well and had two very good chances to score within the first minute if one of those chances had gone in who knows the outcome but they didn't and I am afraid our defending was absolutely abysmal, the ref had a shocker but that was no excuse for this awful performance by the players.

I think some of the recently returned players were not up to another match so soon after giving their all on Saturday, Derry admitted himself it was a gamble to play them and it didn't pay off.

Our passing was awful and I was sad to see that one of the worst offenders was Grealish, he had a stinker in my opinion. In fact since both he and McGregor came back for a second loan spell they both seem to have lost that ability to change the game that they had before.

I'm afraid there is not getting away from the fact that we are doomed to relegation this year.

Well 3 goals wrong and the result surprised me, I really felt Notts could win. What went wrong? The match report sounded like we had some very good chances.

After the quick start by Notts then conceding so fast you could guarantee it would go downhill from there.

Shame as if one of our early shots had gone in, it may have been a different story altogether.

We had no shape early on, it's easy for side to score when the backbone is weak. Very few players held their position like leaders should yesterday. Very shaky start!

Exactly, however we either pile pressure or bring it on ourselves. We're not a smart side going forward or defending, unless everyone knows their roles.

A field where dreams become reality.

Well, it was a helluva first minute!

We lack organisation again and tactically we are inept. Leacock's woeful display rivalled Branston, he was that bad. Mullins had another shocker and Tyson was left isolated far too often. When Liddle limped off and Fotheringham appeared you just knew we were doomed.

Any remaining hope that we might escape the drop this season seemed to evaporate when their second goal went in, game, set & match. If we fail to beat Tranmere & Crewe in the critical forthcoming fixtures would finally seal our fate IMO.

Terrible defending, absolutely.

Is Leacock now injured? He was very poor, no motor or desire and very inconsistent. We went forward reasonably well but Tyson had no support until Murray came on. Why do we leave making chances far to late?? 3-1 and an hattrick for a young lad. He will be buzzing!
