Good morning, well it was really nice to have all the rain yesterday, our lawn must be sighing a huge sigh of relief.

We decided to empty our large fish tank yesterday, it only had one solitary fish left so we’ve transferred it to a smaller tank, we’ll try to sell the large tank. The reason for emptying it is that we need new floor covering, we aren’t sure whether to go for carpet or maybe wood for a change, in any case the furniture wants removing first.

Right I’d better get on, speak later.

I was so excited to get home from school today. I was hoping to see some news about a new signing, but nothing yet. There’s still time though. It’s been a nice day, even though I’ve been stuck inside. Some people just kept going on and on about the same thing, and it got a bit boring.

Tomorrow will be better. I’ve got football to look forward to, and even though I’ve got double maths after, it’s still the best day of the week.

Amazingly we sold our fish tank in one day on Facebook Marketplace in fact I had a few enquiries and someone came from Sheffield and bought it for £70, perhaps I priced it too low, it’s a massive tank on a purpose built cupboard. Any how it’s gone now so we can get in with getting quotes for a carpet.

Just an average weather day here. Plenty of cloud and just a few sunny intervals. It did rain here overnight so that was welcome for the garden.

Had our food delivery today as usual & Mrs Robbie had planned to spring clean the Kitchen which we both completed working together. So it was quite a busy day.

Watched a bit of Tennis from Wimbledon this evening. Looking forward to Brit Cameron Norrie playing his quarter final tomorrow. He playing Alcarez so it will be tough to win, but he's done well to get to this point.

i have just finished work, i thought i would check on pon before i drive home.

im waiting to give a friend a lift to wollaton, but they finish at half past and i finished around 3pm today. nothing exciting about work, just maintaining the pallets ready for their deliveries and general cleaning of the areas that are not in use. the cleaning is the trickier bit, as its important you do it but without damaging other areas that might contain stock and parcels.

@Fan of Big Tone, just make sure you dont price things too low. glad you got the sale and for someone to buy it from sheffield says they got a good deal.

I feel in a very good place right now, busier than ever, and I do feel I am neglecting to find the time to respond to some of the conversations I have going. I do hope most understand that I balance my free time with many other things, such as a friend who had reached out to me about being diagnosed with cancer again, and I pledged to support them by donating things to help raise funds. I just haven't found the time; I'm really bad with these things. I won't sugarcoat stuff; I'll always be honest about it. I do need to do better with important things I allow to slip from my mind.

Earlier, I drafted a news piece about my friend; I hope to help promote their GoFundMe page. I've reached out to an ex-player, asking if they would provide a motivational message, which I will include if they are able to assist. with it.

I did go to the cinema on Monday, with @cheeky~k8. She wanted to watch Stitch, and we ended up with the whole cinema to ourselves. It was a great break out from reality. I'm also getting a fair amount of messages asking about my dad, which I have passed onto it. Don't worry, he's fine. He's just without acccess to PON currently, but he will be soon back.

Wicked Tuna Fishing GIF by National Geographic TV

Today, I took the 79 bus with Kate to Arnold, traveling from our neighborhood through Bulwell, Rise Park, Top Valley, and more. God, the bus was hot... 🫠

Very glad to be home and out of the heat; thankfully, I don't feel tired or have any bad pains.

Played sports for two hours earlier, which was fun, but it was way too hot for lessons. The best bit about being out on the field was feeling the breeze and having cold water to keep cool. When I got home, I didn’t bother turning on my computer. Just wanted to relax and not think too much.

So I’ve been chilling with summer tunes in my ears, feet up on the table, and sitting back in my chair without a care in the world.

It's hot in our apartment at the minute, the building is pretty much in sun all day, which is great in the winter but when there's no breeze it's hot in the summer. Luckily it has a balcony which is north facing so it evades most of the sun! I've been camped out there most of the evening, catching up on the Notts news and swatting off the wasps that have reappeared in numbers this year! Last year I feel like I wasn't troubled by that many.

I’d give anything to go back to school. For those still in it, you might want it to end, but once you’re working and barely see your mates, you’ll start wishing you could rewind. Those years should be some of the best in your life. I’m stuck in an office now, buried under piles of paperwork. The job’s simple and pays alright, but if school had gone a bit better, I could be doing something more meaningful.

Those are not the sort of things you want to mention on your travel insurance, assuming you got that sorted. Early starts and alarms don’t help much either. Got to take care of that heart.

You two really bounce off each other. The way you joke around is brilliant.

It’s rough when you’ve got nowhere to hide from things. Make the most of the balcony, and maybe look into ways to keep the wasps at bay. Are there any hanging baskets nearby? That could be why they keep buzzing around.

Good evening all. It's been a very warm day here with lots of sunshine. We both went out to sit in the Sun during the afternoon, but even though we were under a large parosel I had set up, it was too hot for staying out too long.

Watched Diehard two in the evening. Bruce Willis is one of my favourite Actors. It's a shame that he is having long term health issues now.

It's 78 Deg F at the moment in the house even though we've had the fans on all day. Another uncomfortable night awaits.

Pleased that we have a British team into the final of the men's doubles at Wimbledon for the first time since 1960, & they have a good chance of winning it.

Working in an office with aircon still gets a bit stuffy at times. I do enjoy what I do, but I wish there was more spare time, for things like this and for my kids. Younger fans should make the most of being students, especially with the cheaper season tickets. Us grown-ups are paying top prices, but it’s all worth it for Notts.

I hated school, I hated work too, retirement is the way to go, you can’t beat it.

Not if you’re retired, that’s another perk.

Morning all, another very hot day here, I used to love sitting in the sun, I can’t sit in the hot sun for any length of time now, unless there’s a pool close by or the sea to plunge in.

I had a fright yesterday, as I was sat at a junction waiting for the traffic light to turn green so I could turn left there’s an old bank on the corner so you can’t see what’s coming round the corner, the lights turned green and as I turned the corner a fire engine was on the wrong side of the road going through the red light I hadn’t heard the siren, he swerved in front of the car at the front of the queue of traffic and just missed me. I’m going to look at my dash cam this morning to see how close it was, it was all over in a flash but could have been disastrous.

Hi all.

Unfortunately I had an uncomfortable night due to the heat, but also it seemed when I sat out briefly in the sun yesterday I was bitten by an insect on my lower left leg at the back. It was itching like crazy & didn't get to sleep till around 3 am. So I spent some time doing the word games on PON.

A few years ago I got bitten on the leg & finished up going to the Doctor to have a course of penicillin, so I'm keeping a close eye on this latest bite.

Must have given you are scare @Fan of Big Tone with the fire engine coming across red lights. There's so much traffic now that emergency vehicles have to zig zag their way through traffic.

Having been a professional driver delivering in Nottingham & the Towns around it. I witnessed quite a few times, Police cars, Ambulances & Fire Engines would jump red lights & go across junctions.

@Robbie definitely keep an eye on the bite, my wife suffers from insect bites she got one on her leg once and it swelled up like a balloon.

She puts antihistamine cream on from the chemist to alleviate itching. If you are worried go to chemist or get a doctors appointment (if you can 🙄).

Good evening all. It's been a very warm day here. It was too hot to dot outside. Had a bit of a lay in this morning naughty me.

Mrs did the watering of most of the plants except the hanging baskets & further down the garden which I was tasked to do.

We both watched a movie this evening, London has Fallen, with Gerard Butler & Morgan Freeman. It was very action packed which isn't really Mrs Robbie's cup of tea, but she did enjoy this one.

The film is the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen which was another action packed movie starting Gerard Butler & Morgan Freeman.

You can watch both movies on ITV X if you can get it. They are both worth a watch if you don't mind action movies. There is a third movie too called Angel has Fallen.
