Good morning and happy Monday everyone. It’s getting darker in the mornings now I woke at 7.00 am and thought it was earlier than it was, I was surprised it was still quite dark.

A busy week for me as we prepare for our two week cruise from Southampton to the Canary Islands, lots to do before Thursday when we travel down to stay in a hotel before embarking the ship on Friday. I’m so looking forward to spending some time in the sunshine with our whole family.

Right, I must get on and do the word games, then I can start the day properly.

Mondays are always the worst day of the week; it's wet and cold. Nobody is in a good mood at work, and I can't wait to get home. Today does not seem to be a productive one, but it's what you make of it.

Mid-week, I have an interview with a Stockport County player, which is something I am looking forward to.

The rest of the writing I am doing is mostly covering club news; give me a transfer window or something I can stick my teeth into.

Just having a bit of a rough day today. The weather outside doesn't help. Dark and dreary. These are the type of days we have in the UK that Mrs R doesn't like.

When I visited New York one October the first thing that hits you is the brightness & how high the Sun is in the Sky even at that time of year.

The trees over there in Autumn are also much more colourful & they really are a beautiful sight.

Cheer up @Robbie it'll soon be winter 😂

Seriously, I agree when it’s grey and dismal outside it doesn’t do much for your mood does it? I hope you feel a bit better tomorrow.

Morning all, dull, dark and dreary again on Tuesday. Still, I am wide awake, having breakfast and getting ready for work 🙃 Life is good when you can open those eyes and take the first breath of the day, not knowing just how it will all pan out. What a pleasure it is to be able to say that. Have a lovely cruise @Fan of Big Tone i am sure the weather will notch up a degree or two 😀

Cheer up @Robbie at least you can feel the cold, see the mist and hear when it rains. Enjoy being part of life's rich tapestry.

Have a good day one and all. 👍🖖😉

Impressive to have roses still out at this time of year (assuming you took the picture recently @Piethagoram !)

Yes, it’s suddenly got darker, cloudier and greyer and I don’t like it! Where I am it’s been cloudy since Friday, we’ve had pretty much no sun since early last week. I can feel a change in my mood, I think because of how lovely the weather has been since the spring not feeling or seeing the sun has put my body into a state of shock.

And to make it worse my partner has gone back to Spain for a week to see her family, where it’s 24° and sunny in Logroño. So I’m jealous but I have the flat to myself after I work I can do as I please, that means I can eat what I want, watch what I want and walk around with nothing on (it’s too cold for that actually!)

@menzinho Pic was taken last Friday! By the way, love

Morning all, I woke early with a nosebleed, I had one yesterday too, I’ve been blocked up so I’ve been spraying with Vicks Sinex and I think it’s irritated my nose lining.

In other news my Fitbit 6 has been dying for a while, they only last a couple o years until the batter goes, they aren’t cheap at £139 so a friend recommended the Xiaomi Smart Band so I’ve got one of those at about a third of the price, it seems very similar to the Fitbit so I’m hoping it’ll do a good job for counting my steps, runs and general fitness.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, I’m awake early just going over everything again in my head making sure we have all paperwork etc., ready for our cruise.

We are heading down to Southampton today to stay in a hotel ready to embark tomorrow morning. I’ll pop on here tomorrow if I have time then it will be very intermittent for two weeks as I won’t have a signal at sea only when we stop at ports.

Thanks @Robbie we are going from Southampton to Canaries and back stopping at Madeira, La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Cadiz, Lisbon.

The temperature in the Canaries at the moment is 25 degrees C wall to wall sunshine. I’ll take that.

You've certainly chosen a great part of the World to explore @Fan of Big Tone I've been to Tenerife & Lanzarote in the early norties & they were great holidays. When we visited the weather was great, lots to see and do especially in Lanzarote where you can visit the Volcano on the Island. The Lava fields are absolutely spectacular.

Yes, it’s one of our favourite places to visit we’ve been lots of times, we are going to Lanzarote again in February this time flying, it’s lovely getting some winter sunshine.
