It's a hard question to ask, however that doesn't put me off. No doubt the players tried, it just wasn't there and some will no doubt stand out for this reason because they kept at it.

Please add a comment below (no poll today).

Tell PoN who you think deserved to be named as the Man of the Match.

Dumbuya - only Jones could rival him imo.

Dumbuya had a few dodgy moments early on but was generally composed and his first touch is good. Going forward he was probably our best player and he barely missed a tackle after the opening 20 mins.

Other than Jones, who never stops grafting and uses the ball carefully, nobody else came close for my money.

There were some truly poor displays elsewhere.

I thought Zeli Ismail played quite well, he was involved in the majority of runs/chances. I also felt Jones and Dumbuya had good games, however Dumbuya frustrated me because he doesn't seem to run when he should.

There for I'll say Zeli...

I nominate Carroll for his forty yard dash to retrieve the ball from the JS stand because the ball boy was too slow.

It shows how bad the game was when that was the highlight for me.

I don't think I would know where to start. It all sounded like no huff and plenty of puff.

I bow to judgements of people who went.

Anyone who attended. You deserve a medal for sitting through that!

Adams anyone? I went...

No, all he did really was run with the ball and not always at the best times. Would have loved to see Dumbuya run more, he doesn't seem to do that anymore and perhaps so he doesn't leave gaps at the back.

Adams was, by a distance, the least effective player on the pitch. We nearly fell down the stairs when we saw that he had been named MOTM. By whom, one wonders, the sponsors, the Club? It couldn't have been by anyone who attended the game.

He was awful - out of position all day, far too early beaten in the challenge, wasted possession time after time. He didn't link with the wandering Petrasso, at all, despite the rather ludicrous article on the Club website suggesting that he did.

I've seen enough of Adams to know why Coventry let him go - he's cr@p at full back! The only decent performance he's put in was at Chesterfield where he played in midfield, ahead of Cranston. That was his best game, he scored and hit the post - and he!s not been played in that role since. Absolutely bizarre.

Well Done to him! Thanks for the votes folks.

Am I allowed to belatedly nominate the ball boy previously mentioned for delaying throwing the ball back, so as to give the crowd some respite from the poor display?
