Brilliant to see the fans putting together an event like this, it will really be a good night. I have my ticket and at £3 it's a bargain! Plus a chip butty.. haha!

i think im working, the price is good though! i think the should have been priced higher myself.

£3.00 is not that much for an event like this.... Yes they probably should have charged a touch more, but they have made it affordable for more...

Good on them

What @PTID1862 said is spot on, it offers value.

@PTID1862 is just thinking of his chip butty!

@notts-joe...understandably busy at the moment, but is a quick report from the Shaun and Greg event from last week a possibility in the future when things calm down? Just the juicy bits mind you.

Anyone know where Mick Leonard stands with the club at the moment?

If anyone does go to one of these events please be careful where you park, the last time I did my car window was smashed and things taken from the glove compartment, nothing of value but the inconvenience of having to replace the window has put me off going to any more, there is no secure parking like on match days, several cars were done on Iremonger Road that night.

where are the lads from the medders who would "look after your car mister"

Then again, when we last took up this option it cost a £1.00 NOTE. (nope not a coin)

Perhaps the club offer opening up the car parks and asking for a small fee?

I don't know if they do this but it would be a good idea if not. If the money outweighed the expense of having it staff, it could lead to a good on the side source of income and perhaps bring the community together further - knowing you can park closer to the club.

Good idea @notts-joe perhaps we should raise is with the SLO? I'd certainly be prepared to pay a fee to park in a secure car park for these events and it would make me more inclined to attend. It's different on a match night because there are more cars and I usually park on the embankment.

I got a ticket actually, my friend got me one. At £3 fans should jump!

Yeah why not, I think he's at a conference at the moment but he might be able to iron the idea out.

@erindoors might have thoughts on this.

Sound like a good night and value for money, on the subject of parking at the Shawn Derry forum earlier this month parking was available at the rear of the Pavis stand. Do not know if this applies to this event

Great idea re the club parking, at least it could be looked at, hopefully it would be financially viable

It looks like another interesting event. I won't be able to go myself as Joe is going i'll have 3 kids to look after on a school night.

The car parks are usually open for club evenings and always are if there is an event eg a wedding or works do in the main suites, with security for the gates. Not sure if the Supporters Associaton have asked for it for this one but I'll check on Monday and come back to you.

I've just been informed that the club and the NCFCOSA are offering free parking to those who attend.

@tonyhateley - Come on, come down and have a laugh! I'm hoping I can talk my parents into coming. It would be nice to get my mum back down to the lane and have a family night, at £3 it's not to be turned down. How do you feel about possibly joining us? @GrannyPie @super_ram thoughts? Thanks also should go to @erindoors and the club.

Don't forget the Academy benefit largely from the help!

Count me in, I can finish a little early and drive up.

That free parking is really good news, it makes a great deal, even better. Well done to everybody.

The chip cob is very tempting, and since I can park safely I might try and get to this, I don't want to make a special journey to get a ticket, can I pay on the night?

Posted

@tonyhateley you are starting to sound like you want, your first, your last, your everything ;)

Pay on the night no, though if your going I'll reserve you a ticket. I've got mine, hoping @GrannyPie and super_ram will join me.

Can I let you know on Monday?

It'd be great to see you, @super_ram and @GrannyPie but not totally sure yet, if Monday is too late you could reserve me a ticket and if I don't come it's only three quid and will be in a good cause and of course in that event I would send you the dosh.

I'm hoping I can come.
