Coventry are not the same side, yet are hardly one we can say 'yeah, we will this one'. I agree it will be hard to judge.

I am quite optimistic. I think we will win 2-1.

I hope for a win, yet I feel we will lose.

I think if they score, it will be a few. So I will say 3-1 to them.

Blackville and I will be there but in the main stand, courtesy of Blackville's Granddad, who's a Coventry City Councillor.

2 teams who have suffered a dip in form.

2-2 draw I reckon. Hollis and Thompson.

Well long time no see guys, the foxes aren't playing so back on my neutral days and looking at the fixtures the only local game that looks available to me is this one. So hey things have changed since i was last on here, when I last visited your buys you'd just beaten Port Vale 4-3 and were fighting to stay up. Luckily you did and look where you are now, Shaun Derry looks to be doing a fantastic job. So what's the difference between this season and last season?

Enjoy the game @NunnyFox, give the boys a cheer or two from me. I think the difference from last season is down to the dead wood Shaun has cleared out and he's brought in some players with the right attitude, long may it continue.

Right then folks, ignore this line in the post up top of this page...

But interestingly in head to heads against Coventry we could expect something from the game... Coventry have won 18, whilst 7 games have been drawn, and Notts have won 11...

The bloke who wrote it is an eeeejit , the actual position is:

Notts have won 18, 7 draws and Coventry have won 11, so history favours "the Pies"

A couple of Coventry fans I messaged on one of their fan sites have both said they're playing very poorly, if we don't step up the gears it could be scrappy but I know they'll do us proud. Shaun will have the squad prepared and I'm looking forward to our match chat!

ROY CARROLL caught a plane, then drove from the air port all the way to Coventry! He STARTS!

Added bonus but you have to feel for fabs, however I do have to be upfront and honest. I was concerned about the young keepers confidence, I would refer him tried in games which we should control easier.

i did not see roy making that one.

yeates and slater have mentioned the concerns about if hes eaten and what, surely a keeper there would not be so many concerns about?

Roy Carroll!!! What a guy :) I think we could get a win today, looks like we're playing a 5-3-2 which I would be worried about but it seemed to work well when we used it against Mansfield so why not Coventry? 2-1 win I reckon COYP

The arrival of carroll will be a lift.

He doesn't want to miss a game ah? Well that could be his testiment today. I have butterflies, quite excited about the game. Its been awhile since I have felt like this with notts.

We need to make the most of these corners, it's disappointing to hear from Colin that we are wasting them. One good ball could be the difference but now they're breaking, we need to get control and pressure them.

Two corners in quick succession is where we can punish sides.

COME ON NOTTS!

Ok, so listening to that, it wasn't the greatest performance by any means, but we took the points.

The sign of a team on its way up, when they can win when not playing great.

4th, and closing in on the top two... We HAVE to be happy that the referee missed giving what sounded a nailed on cert of a pen to them

well that was one of them games where you feel so much pride for the club we all support.

carroll did something very dedicated today, he stood up when we needed him. he deserves that praise, its hard on super fabs but i pleased. i think we sounded better than coventry, though we took the points back with us and we move to 4th. i am not bothered about the penalty, i will wait to see and call it but the sky blues had no shots on goal.

very poor display from them!
