McCoist resignation

This one seems strange to me, to say the least

Ally McCoist resigns as manager of Rangers, ok... but then starts a 12 notice period, seems to be an extraordinarily long time..

Similarly he has resigned, but now at a club limited on finance and making a loss, he gets a pay rise...

Thoughts on this one....

He must have had a nice contract. It's been coming really, Rangers have fallen a long way behind Hearts and they want (need?) to go up at all costs. And they don't exactly have a reputation of being careful with their money ...

Shrewd move - if his contract enables him to give such a lengthy period of notice. Either he has a good agent or the Club were a tad naive! Bizarre arrangement.

Whatever happened to Rangers?

Think of that to the 'likely lads' tune.

McCoist isn't special, they'll probably find someone no problem. Ally to a English club? That's going to work.

Narf.

You can't really blame the bloke though can you?

Some of the stick he's had to put up with is ridiculous, he stuck by them at a time when no other big name did, deflecting a lot of bad stuff away just because of who he is to the Rangers faithful.

well the caretaker manager has also resigned, and guess what.....

he also has a years notice period, meaning he will get paid even if they stick him on gardening leave like they did with McCoist
