Radio Nottingham report Danny Haynes has left Notts.

Making the way to sign 4 players including a player from a Championship club.

If true, great result. The longer it went on the more money going down the drain.

With Mason Bennett coming in as his replacement until the end of the season  B)

Always wanted it to work for him but ah well, spose it was all a waste of money in the end. According to Col we're after a Championship striker on loan who needs game time for experience, just hope hes better than Cassidy

Good riddance! The bloke has been utter rubbish - for most of his career tbh!

For some bizarre reason quite a few fans got excited when he signed. Not sure why, apart from a brief flurry as a youngster at Ipswich, he's been cr@p everywhere he's played.

All my info suggests: Over rated, huge ego, generally bad attitude. Waste of space imo.

All that hype, now released without any sort of kind wishes. I don't blame Danny, although I am pleased he's been released because his salary was a waste.

I think had Derry signed him rather than CK it would have been different.

Then again he's never a Derry signing.

It says a lot for his talent that we couldn't find a club willing to take him, and instead the better option was to pay him off.

Seems everyone is pleased he's going.Hope you get a good replacement.

i wish him well regardless.

it could have worked out but it did not, i dont see the point in being bitter but i bet he took his wages with him so the comments about him stealing are a little senseless to me. some blame must go on to the club for paying him his salary and not making sure it represents value for money, if you are going to pay a player a silly fee its a risk that ends with them in my opinion.

if someone offered you a good deal in work, you would not think of it as stealing even if you was not up for the job.

good luck danny haynes!

Good to not have wages being spent on off the pitch players. Find some that will get to play as a replacement.
