who has been your stand out player so far this season

For me so far the stand out player has to be the irish lion Roy Carroll. I admit i was wrong bout this man but he is slowly becoming a notts county legend. He has brought experience to a defence that was shaky a voice of the back and a top stopper.Β

I was contemplating merging this with another similar discussion, however it's really different.

The other I believe to be by Tony highlights signings, this speaks about player(s) so far this season and so I would have to say Roy Carroll. It would be nice if one of the players who was already here stood out, until several games ago I might have been tempted to say Haydn Hollis.

I think this year if the club do a Player of the Season it will be much easier to decide, only really Garry Thompson and Gary Jones standout to me apart from Big Roy.

Very similar threads, my thread was about players (not signings) but for the whole of 2014 i.e. This season and last season from January.

This thread is for this season my vote would go to Carroll as well.

Our tally of points, whilst down to the team.. owes a lot to two in particular...

Roy Carrol at one end and Gary Thompson at the other...

Both could be in with a shout, but you are right in going for Roy

To follow most on here.

I would be very surprised going on what I've seen and what I've read Carroll doesn't getΒ your playerΒ of the season.

@jsrjay lol, we have us a closet pie and lover of all things black n white... helloΒ misguidedΒ tree hugger, pleased to see you are starting to repent and seek forgiveness for the years of depravity you have enjoyed in the temple of sin.

@PTID1862 This closet pie fan you speak of is Nottingham born and bred and likes to see both Nottingham teams do well. But my heart is well and truly on the RED side of the river.
