Shock horror, as I write this Facebook can't be used, it's even been reported on the radio.

Now I can't tell my faithful followers what I am having for breakfast.

Porridge by the way.

I had porridge as well. I put banana in it. I had a glass of fruit juice as well.Β

A small amount of golden syrup in mine and a glass of orange juice, not tried banana, sounds nice.

Hacking group Lizard Squad have claimed responsibility. They normally just DDoS, basically flooding particular website/servers. Don't really seem to have an agenda so to speak.Β

Try banana, I reckon you'll like it. I'll try golden syrup with mine.Β

Common fly spray is enough to temporarily stun a lizard... recommend @notts-joe buys some of this to protect us... once stunned, @GrannyPie could whack it with her sticks...

Meanwhile after 'blocking' and 'restricting' access to a nation which hardly did anything (it was a trolling group that did) the club we support have jumped on it and have decided to upload a cover picture of the Hungarian flag.

Very hypothetical if you ask me.

Why? Well it hasn't come across very well in the press that the club restricted an whole nation, now just like politics they do a u-turn.

All they did was 'hide' the comments so they didn't show to normal people commenting anyway.

Facebook can go down for a whole year, I wouldn't care.

Way too many pointless comments on the official FB page at the moment. I'll be staying away for a while. PON is a sanctuary against all the Hungarian madness.Β

i stay clear of the official page, i was not all that into notts before stumbling across pon. i dont really like facebook but i tried twitter, i did not like it and i like to see the other side of pon, which anyone who visits will see.

i did not notice fb went down or was hacked like the news are reporting.

I only use facebook to chat with friends, i barely post but i do keep an eye out on pon. I haven't actually heard anything about it going down? Well until now.

Use Facebook and Twitter a lot but I managed to continue my life. To be honest didn't notice it was down.

It was down when I tried to log in that morning, by lunch it was working as normal again. Funny how dependent (or even addicted) you can become on Facebook.

I'm surprised Facebook can't manage to cope with rerouteing their servers during any form of attack. The fact hackers can take Facebook down considering the level of expertise they have, it's pretty poor. Yes, sites can be forced down of any stature but the big operations have the ability of doing things which would allow them to cope.

The fact people didn't notice much suggests something, I used to notice all the time when my favourite sites went down and I'd miss them.

A music forum I used to post down once got hacked and it was down for almost a moth whilst the owner struggled to fund having someone to fix it and repair all the damage. I wouldn't miss Facebook!
