Premier League duo arrive at Meadow Lane on loan...

Notts County have completed a double loan signing with forward Graham Burke and defensive midfielder Jordan Williams arriving at Meadow Lane from Premier League sides Aston Villa and Liverpool respectively.

Β

Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Burke, who joins on an emergency loan deal until the end of the season, has previously spent time away from Villa Park on loan at Shrewsbury Town last season.

Β

Williams, who has also been capped at Under-21 international, for Wales, made his professional debut for Liverpool earlier this season, coming on as a second half substitute in the Capital One Cup match against Middlesbrough in September.

Β

The 19-year-old joins Notts on a youth loan, also until the end of the season, with both players available to make their debuts in the Sky Bet League 1 game at home to Scunthorpe United this weekend.

I don't care who signed them or how many players players we've used.I just hope they add something to our survival quest.

Agreed, @GrannyPie

We've signed Graham Burke? He's a massive talent, someone in which I have been following since he was about 14 after a friend of mine (who owns and operates a general football forum) shared videos of this lad training and I don't think he will disappoint us.

IMO he has the ability to be a very good Championship player in not further up the line.

Jack Grealish should know very well the quality he may bring to Notts. I hope so!

Go @GrannyPie, Go Granny, Go Granny! Go Granny!!

In other news, Burke has been described as a 'striker' by another berk(e). He's a winger by trade but can play as a forward, not someone I think we should count on for goals but assists, this lad should and hopefully do. :frantics:
