London bombings 10 years on

I can't believe its 10 years since this happened, I vividly remember watching it on the news and being really shocked at the utter chaos and feeling so sorry for those involved and their families. If it happened today our son is working there at the moment I can't imagine the anguish we would be going through.

What are your memories of the day?

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

Many survivors will board the tube day, I can only imagine how they are feeling. I saw an interview with a driver last night, he was one of the first on the scene, he said he thinks about it every day when he passes a mark on the wall outside Aldgate tube station, but he doesn't dwell on it. The very fact that life went on meant the terrorists hadn't won.

I heard the story of a lady who lost both of her legs, she would have died if it wasn't for a police officer (I think). Anyway, it touched me to hear about how she burst into tears and flung her arms around the person who saved her when they met up for the first time since. Very humble :)

Beating hearts will always show more compassion.

Rest in Peace to all the lost.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Yeah I remember the day as if it were yesterday, was horrendous. And to see something similar happen in Tunisia just under 10 years later is all the more harrowing. But as the old adage goes, "Keep Calm and Carry On". Because those vermin will not win.
