Clearly Mr Fullarton will take some credit for today's result but obviously I'll take partial credit for joining recently and bringing some much needed positivity !!

Joking aside , I'm not sure if he could have got a better start with a clean sheet and a win...but hey , its a start !

Go on you Pies !!!

Ha! It's fairly balanced here but your right about a few things.

Jamie must be pleased with his opening win and our first since the opening day of the season, hopefully we can push on from here because it's all what us fans want. It's a little early to jump the gun but positive response is a much needed boost - If he can get the defence playing like this more will become happier and if the results continue to match, perhaps his Red Dog friend will be scared? LOL....

I'm pleased for all involved, hopefully a sign of more to come. COYP!

Hands up! I was very critical of Fullertons appointment , but fair play to him , he has done a great job in a few days, with a lot more to come I hope , any way my fishing rods are back in the shed, and I'm looking forward to next Saturday , when I will be getting tickets for Luton away , Coyp

I think the reaction was perfectly natural, JJ mentioned to me prior to recording the last PONcast that it's not a gamble a club should take in this division. If it pays off it will be worthwhile, yet there's no argument that we require stability and Fullarton will need all the support he can get - especially whilst he's learning. Each game will be 'new' until he grasps the challenege and its important the players bide their time.

They have the chance to put the first part of the season behind them, so perhaps we can finally push on from here.

i was never against him, always willing to back him but i did not voice much against him either. i did and do feel there is a certain risk of it going wrong.

i almost wrote something instead of 'going wrong'. to which i blame @tarquinbeech:P

Its early doors yet.

Time will tell after the dust settles and if players become discontent with not being selected. There is a long way to go but credit for the first win since opening day, I am sure it will create some togetherness and self belief.

Absolutely ... AFC Wimbledon had a decent result today to add to a few recent wins so yeah, its a win ...but at the moment its only that ....a win at home next week?....then that's a bit of momentum

As I have said elsewhere one swallow doesn't make a summer but let's hope we see lots more swallows and summer returns to Notts County.

Take each game as they come and dont get upset over losing the odd game.

We cannot expect him to perform miracles whilst he carries out a job in which he is new at. Likewise we cannot jump for joy just because we won one game, its a good start but keep things in perspective.

A good start, but it's one game. One more than Moniz could muster away I'll admit,  but I'm sure the road will be bumpy. Let's hope the board have a good decision on their hands for a change. Leaves lots of questions team selection wise over the next few weeks though.

Well done to the players and JF. I hope they can get through the next few games the same. Clean sheets with stealing a few goals is fine if three points are kept. A big change up from losing 2-0 and having to come back to win  every time.

I genuinely do hope JF does prove nearly all of us wrong and turn out to be a good appointment.

I expect a strong challenge for a playoff place. It's the least Notts should be aiming for. An honest attempt will do me, if they fail, then at least they tried.

At least acknowledgement is followed after the original disappointment, long may it continue.
