This is a joke that has been passed around, I thought you might find it amusing.

I was at Asda yesterday buying a box of Bakers for my dog, I'm at the checkout and a woman behind me asked if I had a dog (why else would I be buying dog food, RIGHT ???) So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Bakers Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost... 5 stone before I woke up in intensive care, with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and all you do is load your pockets with the small bite biscuits and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a kerb to sniff a poodle's bottom and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard.

I recall reading it, though it doesn't seem to get boring like some.

I don't go in many pubs and don't meet up with friends very much at all.

I can understand that with small children you are limited at getting out, we were like that when our kids were small then when they grow up you get out of the habit and can't be bothered.

You've got lots of virtual friends on here k8.

Its nice to speak to people on here and some on facebook too. Like you said Tony when Kids are little parenthood takes over and you lose track of time and days. I enjoy it though so i can't complain. Its nice that we can all get on really well and have a laugh on here.
