Well, if Stanley goes elsewhere, feeling that crowd will get more vocal against Jamie.

I'm sure it will.  If we want to keep him, surely we have to use him.  Saturday will tell us a lot, if Aborah isn't on the bench at least, the club have a lot of explaining to do.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

Maybe the reasoning is that they don't want York winning too many games with them being our relegation rivals?!?

I've given up on JF playing him, he has just decided to suck all creativity from the side and wants a team of triers. Well, Derry had a team of triers and look where that got us last season!

Well, that explains the Scot Bennett loan!

In some ways Ricardo's judgement of players was correct....Bennett and Adams are not good enough. I find it hard to take that Guy's shopping list last summer for a tall no nonsense centre half was unfulfilled. If Bennett was the best he could get, it does question Guy's Head of Recruitment credibility?

The issue with Bennett is that he is too short to play as a centre half unless there is someone more dominant alongside him, who can deal with the aerial threat posed by teams. Unfortunately we don't have anybody really confident under an aerial ball, even Hollis with his height, isn't a great header of the ball.

why is the club loaning players out to our rivals? very fishy.

York need to pick up 14 points from 10 games (they have only managed 27 points from 36 games all season)....plus we would need to lose all 11 of our remaining games, to be relegated.....odds of 1000 to 1?

Loaning a few players to York wont harm us IMO.

Apart from the fact that some of our reserve team players are better than the first team, I would agree with you.

It would be very interesting to watch a Dryden reserve side take on the 1st XI, which reminds me a bit of when Mick Walker was in charge of the reserves. They always played a very attractive style of football and never mirrored the first team in any way. They were a joy to watch and also played in the evenings, which meant that I could get down to see them for free with my season ticket.
