With so much strong feelings both for and against purchasing at the moment , I was wondering how hard is it hitting the club , and how many have stood firm in not getting one yet , what are the thoughts of the community.

I was just about to post an article on the same thing. I personally haven't purchased mine due to the fact, I don't know who the manager is, we are under a transfer embargo, nobody is informing the fans of anything. I live in Spilsby near skeg so it costs an extra Β£20-Β£25 in travel for each game so if we get something to excite me and take away the doom and gloom that is hanging over us or a manager I feel I can backΒ and I will buy however if not it will just be a case of picking and choosing games.

Get the feeling lots feel like you do, totally understandable, I'm interested to see how this topic progresses, not surprised you were thinking of starting one like itΒ @TheFostarr94 , wasn't sure if anyone had to be honest .Β

I'm still yet to buy mine, I probably will when it comes down to it but at the moment I just have no hope that we will do well, until we have a manager I won't be taking the long walk down to meadow lane to renew mine

I can understand why people are holding back, but whoever the owner / manager / players / tea ladies are I still want to spend another seasonΒ supporting Notts. Β Simple as that.Β

Regardless, today I purchased a season ticket for myself and Jake. Also, I took advantage of the free ticket again and renewed my eldest daughters - it's not so much about if we do or don't do well, nor is it about the politics or club on-goings but for me it's because I want to be there.

I'm a Notts fan, so where else would I be on a Saturday?

Great support guys ,Β

If JS is appointed, will that make others take the plunge also I wonder ??Β

I guess I would have talked myself into one but I will be now, the trews being in charge wasn't my beef like many notts fans because they have backed every manager and yes got thing wrong along the way but have had bad luck, if they back JS then I'm all happy, we have a manager, Branston is gone and things are starting to get more positive

I'm getting mine tomorrow, I've decided to give them one more year as I can't think of anything else I would rather do, but I need to see an improvement in order to bring me back again the year after.

Hopefully more will renew or purchase a season ticket, however on the back of last season and the current atmosphere I really don't blame others for not doing it.

There's been tweets from fans, some quite key people - all saying it's for the club to motivate fans and I have to agree. Fans go to games for many reasons, however it's always aided by signings, discount, potential promotion. It's still very gloomy around Notts County.

A decent managerial appointment has that effect, hopefully more will follow, I sorted mine and my lads last week, just before JS was announced.

Think the positivity is slowly increasing and the gloom is lifting , coyp indeedΒ

Fans are doing what is normal, they're getting behind the team they support and you are right the positivity is increasing. The club must now do whatever they can within their power to keep it this way, if there's any falling outs like Aborah last term - the simply approach of sitting people down and being mature is the way to go. You can't just let it become bigger than it really needs to be, especially if you take sides or ignore it (which seemed to be the case).

You can that the club are trying to win over people but they need to continue.

Positivity is coming back and that is important.
