So England may be out of the World Cup but we still play on Saturday for the 3rd/4th place game I know County are playing but will anyone be watching the game.?

If anything now, I want to see them beat Belgium and prove how overrated those lot are.

We can finish third if we focus, they have to fight for this position because 3rd place would show those now moaning that we did something that we haven't done for awhile.

I don’t think anyone really cares about this game, I don’t know why the bother with it to be honest, I’m sure the players just want to get back home.

I'll watch it as I don't do pre season friendlies,  but as @Fan of Big Tonesays they shouldn't have it as there is no point to the game. They don't have a 3rd/4th place playoff for any other cup competition, so why this one?

It will be exactly the same as the first game, our reserves v Belgium's reserves as none of either teams first XI's will really want to play in it.

Pointless? The European Championships used to do it in the 1980's, I have no idea why they stopped it because it makes a lot of sense.

And besides it helps with the FIFA ranking, so I would assume this is the main reason why they do it compared to other national tournaments no longer doing it. Should the Olympics drop the bronze medal place?

i think this is a shame, as @allardyces tash people care about getting third place in the olympics and i am sure the england team want to finish third in the world cup.

i hope they get third place.
