we would have won if the defence was better and done its job properly, im not worried and i am encouraged by the fact they played better up front. just need the back sorting.

Terrible defending and keeping, how Fitzsimons continues to get defended I don't know. He's at fault just as much as Duffy and Brisley. If it was Collin some of those defending Fitz would be saying the same now.

I think when Notts scored they invited the pressure back on themselves, the defence was clearly sleeping and from what I can gather all four defenders had an off day - yet somehow Richard Duffy doesn't get noticed as much despite him being the "leader" on the pitch.

It's shocking how we broke up and gave the game away.

Kevin Nolan is guilty of avoiding the changes required but these things will come with time.

Very poor day for Notts, they can be better and there are a lot of positives. Right now they need to get points ASAP!

It will take time, it's a slow start but things will pick up. Once Notts gets their first win it should encourage the players to go for it.

I think Yeovil will be the game where we can get to 4 points, then push on from there. I'm not so bothered now about Cambridge because at least we scored and looked comfortable for a time.
