Not for me. Seemed quite lightweight in goal and wasn't very commanding. With him playing in non league it shows he isn't good enough to play for Notts.

He looked good once upon a time but he lost his confidence, I think he looked better than Ross Fitzsimons does now but both have major issues with their confidence.

I think his career profile  since he left us provides the answer, which is an emphatic NO.

He's no better, however if fans looked at the career profile of Ross Fitzsimons I think they would admit neither his he.

Both have had their chance, neither have taken it. Could Fitzsimons improve? Yes but I question his ability to lead and organise his defence properly.

I was a big supporter of Fabs but he lost his head, never took the chance but there was once when he looked able to go forward.

I think missing out on the move to Liverpool effected his confidence, along with being in and out of the squad. He should have taken the roll but similar to him his happening to Ross Fitzsimons. I think Ross is gone myself, I can't see how he will stop conceding.

I think a clean sheet would do wonders for Ross, it's not all been his fault but he really hasn't helped himself, I think he just needs a game like this Saturday against another team struggling to buy a win, and we just need to shut up shop and protect Ross at all costs, I think what killed off fabian Spies was that Pilks started ahead of him when Big Roy was injured

I never saw him play and to be honest I had forgotten all about him, if he was any good I don't think I would have.
