Out of 10 what would you grade county’s summer signings as a whole.

6/10 I think the only positives are Boldwijn and Hemmings the rest have been disappointing nd no better than the players we had.

I would tend to agree. Dennis so far has been very underwhelming, the younger lads for the middle haven't (quite rightly in the midst of a relegation battle) featured regularly and the rest..who?

Enzio and Hemmings seem to be keepers, but the rest...oh dear...

You lot are generous! There’s definitely potential but I if I had to judge it at this exact moment in time, given the expectation, the money spent and considering where we are in the table I’d have to say 3.5/10.

We’ve signed too many players (again!) and most of them are ineffective central midfielders. We had to add our defenders from the bargain bin cos we didn't actually sign any in the summer. I like Evina, Turley and Ward but they are by no means a long term solution. Then there’s the players we haven’t seen enough of like Kellet, Dennis, Crawford and Hall so it’s hard to judge.

The only players at the moment that have improved us are Enzio and Hemmings, I know he misses chances but his touch and link-up play is great.

3 is probably being generous. We reached the play-offs last season and this season was supposed to be our big push. And look where we are...

Vaughan, Thomas, Patching, Crawford, Kellett, Dennis, Boldewijn and Hemmings arrived in the summer to much fanfare and only the last two have made an impression. OK, the players can't d much about the bad squad planning, but the fact that they can't establish themselves in such a poor team speaks volumes. Our defensive panic signings have done somewhat better, especially Turley.

Vaughan - 1 - Not what was needed.

Thomas - 2 - Doesn't look capable.
Patching - NA - Largely unseen.
Crawford - NA - As above.
Kellett - NA - As above.
Dennis - 3 - Hard to be too critical, as we've not seen a lot of him and when we have we've tried  to use him as a target man.
Boldewijn - 7 - Dangerous.
Hemmings  - 6 - Not sure if he's worth the fee we paid, but decent acquisition at this level.

Some of these are harsh.

I think much of the issues are down to the formation and poor choice of tactics from both Nolan and Kewell. I would rate the signings 7/10, I would give a much lower rating on performances but I can acknowledge we have a good squad. The size just needs reducing and one or two new additions need bringing in that offer something completely different.

A midfielder that can attack and defend would be nice.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
