Sam Osborne has today penned a pro deal with Notts county. 

The youngster has played 6 times for the magpies the latest was against Newcastle in the checkatrade trophy. 

Harry Kewell after the game praised Sam Osborne his attitude and playing style and how he has a future. 

Im sure a few of us thought it was just hype or false praise but it seems like maybe we was incorrect if today with the pro contract signing is a indication.

Great to see us looking to the future. But let’s not expect too much from the lad too soon. We need to get ourselves up the league as the first priority.

actually there is not a better time for Sam to make an impact. The "experienced" pro's have failed, we need more goal scoring threats
