Milsom - 2 - Bambi on ice performance again. Almost lost it in dangerous areas and did a couple of times. Negative/**** passing. Accident waiting to happen.

Pretty much spot on. Shocking overall and becoming a chore to be a Notts fan at the minute. Needs a bloody big clear out at Xmas.

Fitzsimons 9 - Does what is required of him and kept us in the game. Only player that has improved 

Turley 7 - What he lacks in ability, he makes up for in passion. Someone who actually cares

Ward 6 - Headed away what he needed to

Brisley 5 - Same as Ward. Still a bit worrying sometimes

Evina 4 - Inconsistent 

Milsom 1 -  Can't pass and runs round like a headless horse

Hewitt 2 - Doesn't do much. Still wandering around like he's on another planet

Boldewijn 6 - Tries. Almost scored. Poor bloke can't do everything

Alessandra 1 - Bloke walks about and in recent games, he doesn't look like he could give two toffee yoghurts

Thomas 3 - Not enough quality to be playing at his parent club. Can't change a game.

Dennis 4 - That poor man. Give him a bag of Quavers or some sort of apology gift

Duffy 2 - Erm. Right. Yeh. Why was he bought on? Feigned an injury as per usual

 

Kewell 1 - Tactically got it wrong and then that substitution was just comedic. Hoof ball to Dennis. Well done. Go. Just go. 

 

I agree with the points people have given and the crap some people put next to names .. to be fair that’s polite to put crap. 

Cant believe that Fitzsimmons got 9/10 he did play well.

- Being beaten by his man
- Standing off his man
- Failing to block crosses
- Poor crosses
- Wrong positions
- Couldn't pass to a Notts player
- Can't tackle

Makes a change from a headless chicken I suppose. 

Fitz 7 - good saves but I never see him controlling his defence and directing him them

Turley 7 - fully committed

Evina 4 - can’t argue with any previous comments

Ward 6 - did his job

Brisley 5 - as above but played with 10 men when moved to midfield, not his fault though

Enzio 7 - only quality we have and now added work rate

Hewitt 1 - hides in games and just runs around a lot, never shows himself for passes in the middle or looks to find space, offers nothing going forward or as a spoiler 

milsom 4 - would improve if partnered with reliable ball winner

Alessandra 5 - thought he started well and at least looks like he wants the ball

Thomas 0 - how he stayed on for 90 mins is the biggest mystery in Notts County history, offered zilch to the game and his touch is dreadful

Dennis 5 - felt sorry for him as he actually made some really good runs but was never found or even attempted to be found

Duffy 4 - haha

Kewell 3 - not his finest moment

 

Fitz 9 - made some fantastic saves and kept us in the game, deserved MoM

Turley 8 - showed lots of passion played well

Evina 3 - oh dear, he was poor

Ward 6 - Good strong headers when needed 

Brisley 6 - did ok

Enzio 8 - a constant threat and deserved a goal

Hewitt 3 - I've seen him play a lot better

milsom 5 - prone to mistakes

Alessandra 5 - I thought he tried but struggled to make an impact

Thomas 3 - a bad day at the office

Dennis 3 - he was up front on his own for most of the game but a good striker makes his own chances

Duffy 5 - why he was brought on for Dennis I'm not sure but did ok for me

Kewell 3 - got his tactics completely wrong he promised us attractive attacking football I didn't see any last night

Fitz 8 - made some good saves But trie to duck one that happily landed on top of the net.

Turley 9 - showed lots of passion played well again my MoM

Evina 5 - not up to his usual standard

Hewitt made Notts bypass the midfield, he never looked to get involved and look like an headless chicken. If I was him, I would be underwhelmed by how I performed and as a fan I question why he wasn't subbed. He did nothing, those fans that praised him for his one mindless run had me baffled.

The ratings by most seem fair but Hewitt deserves nothing.

Duffy did okay, I wasn't impressed with his fish dive when he was fouled and the one after where he caused himself an injury was just dumb.

In summary I'd give Fitz 8, Turley and Enzio 7, the rest 4 but Evina, Thomas and Dennis only 3.  Concentrating on the weakest links, Evina barely stopped a cross all night and his forward play was dire, Thomas put in one good free kick and disappeared for much of the game, and Dennis looks unfit and disinterested.  I know he got minimal service, but Enzio showed that even if you get no service, you can still create chances if you put in the effort.  It was painful to watch, Oldham looked like they had a couple of extra players on the pitch. When they had the ball, they had time to take a touch, look for a teammate in space and pick a pass. The movement of their players often gave them more than one option. Contrast that with us - whenever we had the ball an Oldham player was snapping at our heels, forcing us to go backwards or hoof it aimlessly forwards. There are two reasons for that, either our formation and shape was wrong, or the players didn't work hard enough. I think both apply. Our unmotivated bunch of misfits was comprehensively outplayed at home by a bottom half team. I thought it was silly to talk of ditching Kewell this early, but there is no doubt that performances like that will see us surrender our Football League status with barely a whimper.

The rating are more than fair with what I saw on Tuesday night more than fair. Be nice to see some more 8/9 but the lads need a big game and to turn up for that
