So Notts on Saturday at meadow lane may have to be careful of one man more than ever. James Norwood is Tranmeres leading scorer and leading statsman and will surely want to add to his total this Saturday.

Notts have to just be more keen to win the ball back, we have stood off teams for more seasons than I care tor remember. It's time we attempted to cut out crosses, watched box-to-box runs and put someone like Jamie Turley onto the key players.

If we was more responsible in defence, attacking would come a lot more natural.

Opposition teams would have to work and worrying about target men wouldn't be as much of a concern as it is right now.

Ward and Turley will have him their back pockets, I hope.

Keep the ball away from him,cut out crosses, mark tightly. He can't score if he doesn't have the ball.No doubt other teams have tried doing this and he's still managed to score quite a few goals ,so good luck Turley and co.

Notts have got to want it more. They did annoy James Norwood and make sure every header is won when our defence comes up against him for a header

Notts have more to concentrate on but he will be one to watch along with the rest of the team.

Jonathan Smith, Steve McNulty and Connor Jennings are equally as good.

James Norwood is credited for other peoples service, yes he's a good player and an excellent finisher for Tranmere but the creativity and real threat is behind him.

I hope Notts makes him work because a lot of his goals has come from very, very poor defending which makes me nervous TBH.

if turley browses twitter, he will see a video which will give him your the motivation to have this player under his thumb. ward and turley will sort it.

I’ve spoken to my friend who is a Tranmere fan and will attend today’s game has told me a bout him and I’m hoping that @super_pie has got it right and Turley will have him in his pocket but he’s a good player/attacker knows his stuff and lead Tranmere to 7th so far this season he is definitely someone we need to watch and mark.
