Notts v Tranmere.. any positives

Featured Replies

Scored three goals. Keston Davies proved to be a very versatile player. Can play RB, CM, CDM and CB and play there well. Thought he could have been a contender for MOTM today. Vaughan excellent, work rate was brilliant.

plenty of positives, it was a much better team performance.

the weaker parts of the play did not really cost the club this time, some might say notts was lucky but they deserved the win. the midfield kept tranmere tight and made them work. the defending for the most part was much better.

Fight, commitment, togetherness, good attacking threat

Hewitt didn't do too bad at right-back, Davies quality at CM, Sir Jon Stead, Thomas didn't look lazy

The performance was everything Notts have lacked much of this season, the players seemed to go out with a plan that they believed in and they played well together. There was blips but to say based on the last 3-5 games anyone would have taken the yesterday as a sign of something positive. I think Neal Ardley can take strengthen from this and build, the passion, result and goals was good.

Notts shown a real desire to get the win and it was deserved.

A field where dreams become reality.

The players seem to be in a much better mood on the pitch, which is hopeful that we can carry on getting better results too. I would say they played much better, especially under the circumstances of all injuries.
