The comparison with Macclesfield, wage budget underlines the enormity of Notts's misspent budget

The Nottingham Post isn't holding back the punches now are they? Probably realise that Alan's updates on Ilkeston Town won't attract many reads.

A field where dreams become reality.

its irrelevant now, the form for notts was always poor. too much going against the club, the budget could have worked. i dont think notts should have let alan smith and mike edwards go, the players looked sluggish for most of the season.

if you have a good pre season it makes all the difference.

Good article, I don't get why the Nottingham Post has suddenly started to publish things like this. Some of the recent stuff could have been reported much sooner, it sort of discredits them.

Thanks for sharing @Piethagoram, the wage comparison is mind-bending. Perhaps the NEP has suddenly realised it can be critical of AH since he'll soon be gone anyway.

More like the NEP is bitter that their love triangle and weekly columnist will soon be gone.

Things like this would have been better in season, now it don't seem all that interesting TBH. We know our budget was much higher, we can see it was spent as well as it could.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
