a question which keeps coming up on social media is who would you switch your loyalty to if notts county did not exist. its a grim idea, before notts as i have written before i was never interested in football.

i do not think i could switch to a local club, it would not be the same or at least i cant see it being the same as notts.

what about you?

If Notts County ceased to exist, the only other club I could ever contemplate supporting would be AFC Notts County.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

I kind of already do, but that's for geographical reasons. I couldn't just transfer my allegiance to another club, I'd never fully feel part of it.

AFC xyz is very 2001. I'd prefer Notts County AFC or DangerousSausage FC.

If it happened might attend Basford games, I might see if we fans could form AFC Notts County but, I don't think it would be the same. I'd probably give up football.

A field where dreams become reality.

No, I wouldn't have much interest in supporting another club. It will leave a bitter taste if Notts failed to exist.

I would still like football.

Last of a generation me, my family either don't follow football or support bigger clubs due to moving away from Nottingham. If the club does not exist, I wouldn't choose any other team to support.

If either play at Meadow Lane in black and white stripes I'd give it a go.

Although "Come on you sausages" would take a bit of getting used to.
