Posted December 13, 201311 yr #1 So Notts travel to Colchester tomorrow in the hope that we can start a bit of a run going after last Saturday's welcome win. This in my opinion is definitely a match we can win and at least should be looking at getting a point. I am going for a 1-0 win. What are other thoughts?
December 13, 201311 yr #2 I am far more optimistic after last week's efforts. Steadier performance, much better result and 3 stunning goals. Our brittle defending remains a concern and the confidence, like the momentum, needs to be maintained.Certainly a good opportunity to grab that elusive first away victory. I can sniff at least a point!I can't go but I hope to be in the chat room. Come on you Piiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeees.
December 13, 201311 yr #3 I really think the old adage of who gets the first goal will be telling in our season tbh. I feel that we are on the verge of something special but as Pies4u says the confidence is the big thing and if we get the first goal then I believe we will run out comfortable 3-0 winners and onto an unbeaten 13 point haul between now & the 2nd January 2014. If Colchester get the first goal then I think we'll still get a draw but the unstable confidence will roll into the Bristol City game and carry on through the festive period.
December 14, 201311 yr #4 It is certainly a game we can and should win. Like others I feel we may be on the verge of something special happening within the club. We need to win today though, to keep the confidence growing. A team totally bereft of confidence? coming up against a Bristol team with Steve Cotterill in charge, you just know he will want to put one over on us, But my head and heart both say win, 2-1 for me
December 14, 201311 yr #6 Ball in for Haynes. Good move - he's "injured"& not on bench, by all accounts. Otherwise, same team - so, Come on you Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeees.
December 14, 201311 yr #8 Absolutely superb, well played lads and well done to all the team at NCFC. We are getting our pride back. Love it

December 14, 201311 yr #11 Yes Tony,Six in a row for us.Not at our best and lucky deflected opening goal but will take it.Two in a row now for Notts and away, so should give confidence a massive boost. Also Alfreton came back from a goal down to win 3-1 at Kettering.Brad The Miller is also a happy chappie.Just a pity Ipswich didn't get a goal. All in all a great day .Now to open a bottle and celebrate
December 14, 201311 yr #12 I'm literally still excited! We played very well and deserved the win, they wasn't very impressive but could have punished us.Speechless right now! Here's Callum McGregor's goal >http://youtu.be/xY81t5HZ_C4
December 14, 201311 yr #13 What a week for Notts - two big hurdles cleared firstly with Derry's first win last weekend, and the long awaited first away win today, and what a way to do it! 7 goals scored in 2 games, a rare clean sheet today - only our 3rd in the league so far. Deffinite progress being made. How fantastic would it be to make it 3 in a row next weekend? We can't underestimate Bristol City at all, but a 3rd win would really put the cat amongst the pigions, so to speak. YOOOOUUUUU PIIIIEEESSSSSS
December 15, 201311 yr #16 Great result and we deserved the win by all accounts.Let's keep the run going..
December 16, 201311 yr #17 I don't think any players didn't give less than 7, our midfield was dynamite and McGregor/Grealish would be given 9's by me. They took the game and created play, Bart was called upon but had very little to do (perhaps he's a 6?)Personally I don't do this rating stuff, it's far easier when they have a bad game! haha
