Ciaran Brennan joins on loan

Featured Replies

I have read some opinions shared by Sheffield Wednesday fans, He seems to be rated highly - I will wait to see how he does. I won't judge him straight off the bat, but I do hope he settles in quickly and impresses.

The cover in the centre-back area is needed, I'm not keen on Adam Chicksen and Richard Brindley being played together in this role, as they both like to attack and drift wide.

Both can do the role, but I think we're stronger with the cover.

After saying the club has been monitoring 4-5 players, he needs to be good. Its a vital area that is needing cover, and although I am not worried about his inexperience I do think when someone comes in they need to do their best.

I’m encouraged by what the Sheffield Weds fans have had to say about him, lot’s of good and potentially not far off getting a chance with their first team.

And a 1-month loan is pretty low risk, but hopefully if he does well we can extend it and keep him with us.

Hopefully, if he does well enough we can extend it. I think stronger competition in this area would be good.

The signing does seem to be just cover though.

I remind myself that Sam Graham came with his clubs blessing, their fans highly rated him and the loan deal was hyped by Notts.

So, I won't be paying attention to these types of comments.

Its good the club has quickly acted to bring in a player, I think he looks like a good short term addition but even if he does well. It depends on his performances as to how we proceed once Kyle Cameron and Connell Rawlinson return. I agree withΒ @Joshua, it looks like a short term thing but we will see.
